Fuck you, McDonald's

Those of you only interested in telling me I'm unreasonable for eating in McDonald's, can save your fingers. I'm not going to be back in a hurry, Christmas fucking music (Noddy Holder followed by Tom Jones) and worse, they've changed the barbecue sauce and now it's minging. I came in here for some emotional eating and I'm leaving enraged. Angry

@EllaMenopee oh no. Although I thought of your thread when I got a Mc D drive through a few weeks ago. I got chicken tenders. I asked for curry sauce instead of one of the other ones, they charged me for it. I know it's not one that comes with the tenders but I've never been charged for it before.

I get extra sauces every time I go and keep them in my house for the inevitability of them forgetting! And it's normal bbq sauce! 🥰🥰😂😂😋😋

If you order on the app there’s an option to add condiments. If you’re very lucky you may even get them.

OP the round sauces are for the selects (as PPs have said) so while you didn’t like it you may have also been charged 30p for the privilege 😂

They had a limited edition selects sauce a few years ago which was a tub of the Big Mac sauce. That was inspired and they should bring it back. When they had the nuggets anniversary they had some new sauces one was a garlic mayo would deter vampires for at least two months and was tremaze. I hoped there was going to be a vote to keep one of the new sauces but there wasn’t 😢

I also will miss the Philly stack. I also liked the chicken Big Mac when they had that.

I remember for an April Fools, McD announced they were starting a new milkshake sauce.

Apparently there are people who like to dip their fries in their milkshake.
When they found out it was an April Fools, they were really gutted.

I was just astonished people dip fries in milkshake.

YADNBU OP. I still haven’t forgiven MaccieD’s for binning their classic burgers. They were so nice. Loving the current phillycheese stack thing tho. Trying to find any excuse to get another one in before they stop doing them next week.
Pretty sure my DC would call Childline if I stopped taking them for an occasional maccies.

Did you get to the bottom of your syrup quest? Haven’t had time to read the whole post & it’s bedtime so just in case you’re still unanswered..what you need is maple flavoured pancake syrup. Something like this:

Back when you used to have to pump the sauces out of those dispenser things my daughter would make her own mix of the BBQ and tomato sauce plus salt and pepper.
It was gross ....but she liked it. Weirdo.

I do that with my sauce (minus the salt, I put enough on the fries). I've never seen anyone else do it, but I've been doing it for 22 years! Some places still have the pumps.

@Royalsingingseal where is this mythical Maccyds with no music? It sounds like heaven.
Some Maccyds play classical music at certain times to put off teens from hanging out there - which is a bit of an insult to teens by assuming their delicate ears can't cope with a bit of classical 😂
