Even the name is horrendous

Literally everyone wears them

Everyone doesn’t. Literally.

I don’t. My mum doesn’t. Nobody I know does.

So are those bloody tiny shorts that are frankly about the same size as my actual underwear. I have no desire to see a teenage girl’s arse when I’m queuing for a coffee 😳

😅 I agree. A parent had then on for the school run and was in front of me.

GarlicGrace · 25/10/2023 22:08

They look amazing on the young, slender, highly toned women they're intended for. A bit startling to the unaccustomed eye, but more "Wow!" than "Urgh!"

On everybody else, they look ... revealing, not in a good way 😂

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 25/10/2023 22:08

I love good gym kit which delivers performance wise but there's something about those strange things which gives me the ick.

PinkRoses1245 · 25/10/2023 22:08

I don’t think anyone looks good in any leggings really.

shockwaze · 25/10/2023 22:07

Sometimes a bit of body shaming is needed

They are indecent. I was in Tesco with my elderly father and a woman with a rather ample bum wearing them bent right over in front of my Dad. He said ‘Good God’ . I thought he was going have a stroke, as in a medical episode not literally. I didn’t know where put my face. Arse cracks need to be covered up!!

This made me laugh so much🤣

Jellykat · 25/10/2023 22:07

Gobsmacked.. a lot of women hate Drag for the caricature element, while more and more young women are choosing to do it to themselves anyway.
Exaggerated boobs, hair, lips, bums, its getting ridiculous and quite revolting now, imo!

HazardLights · 25/10/2023 22:06

Nowherenew · 25/10/2023 22:05

Why because I don’t like women being body shamed?

I’d normally be saying the same, except, come on honestly? In these leggings? It’s worse than going out naked really.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 25/10/2023 22:06

It’s no odder than crop tops or push up bras etc.

Yes it is. It's not the butt-lifting quality that's weird, it's the showing your arse crack quality. They are absolutely grim imo. The school where I teach has no specific dress code for 6th formers, and some of them wear these.

It looks like an extended puckered anus to me. Is that hot?

That is honestly vomit inducing.

LlynTegid · 25/10/2023 22:05

Awful, though almost all leggings look bad. Perhaps a £100 tax on every pair would put an end to them.

Oh bore off.

Why because I don’t like women being body shamed?

Bbq1 · 25/10/2023 22:04

Women can actually go out and buy comfy, weather appropriate clothing if they want to but many choose not to. Men are not buy them. Women are. Detested thongs when i was young just don't get them and they are hideously uncomfortable, I'd rather go commando than wear them! Hideous scrunch bum leggings are just the next step. Shudder.

Hohofortherobbers · 25/10/2023 22:03

Is it all in scrunch or are these women padded up?

I’m surprised no one has yet said that women should be allowed to wear whatever they want and that they are not responsible for how men view them.

I agree though, that the leggings and the shorts are utterly hideous. Especially when worn with a crop top. It really does look as though they’re going to stand on a street corner.

Well, they should and they aren't.

That doesn't stop the leggings from looking ridiculous though.

This. It’s like those female baboons that show off their swollen red bums 🤣 Often seen on human version accessorized with swollen red filled lips.

I saw a woman the other day who had the biggest (fake) lips I had ever seen. The poor girl honestly looked cartoonish. The rest of her was very skinny, arms, legs, torso, and she had a delicate little face. She would have been so much prettier had she left herself alone! I know, I know, her choice, don't judge, but I did think it was a bit grotesque.

LeHamelRenard · 25/10/2023 21:58

They’re not what I’d wear but I’m in my 40’s.

The young women in my gym look good in them.

All power to those who have a good enough arse to flaunt it. I would have when I was younger.

HazardLights · 25/10/2023 21:57

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 25/10/2023 20:37

I find them a bit obscene but weirdly fascinating. I marvel at the women who want to display their arse crack so prominently.

Ylvamoon · 25/10/2023 21:57

Hopefully in years to come people will think wtf was I wearing!

Meanwhile, guys and boys in comfy weather appropriate clothes.

This is THE saddest thing...

And me

The leggings are bad but the shorts are worse!

I told DD I was thinking of getting some, because she wouldn’t be seen dead wearing the same thing as her mum <tactical parenting>

Genius!
