To think its disgusting that dh used my towel

Bought myself a new bath towel recently, a lovely pink fluffy thing, a treat just for me. Dh used it this morning, stuffed it into the wash basket, and went off on his way. So I took it out to get it straight in the washing machine only to find he'd really given himself a good scrub and left the evidence behind 😠Anger level 1-10?

Sounds like he did this on purpose. Yuk!

Which is why more and more homeowners don't let the tradesmen use their loo! Some are little more than animals when it comes to personal hygiene and respect (or lack of) for other peoples' property!

I’ve just remembered another Incident. A broadband man came to my flat and asked to use the loo. Fine. The door to the loo was frosted glass and it was a very small flat so I couldn’t avoid being privy to what was going on. He had a piss, zipped up and walked out. I mean, he knew how obvious it would’ve been that he hadn’t washed his hands but still he didn’t care.

With regards to not using enough toilet paper, aforementioned ex was in and out of the loo so fast there’s no way he could’ve wiped his arse properly.

SplendidUtterly · 24/10/2023 12:59

I wonder if men like this are blissfully just unaware of what they are doing, they simply just don't care, maybe have issues with touching/cleaning their asses because they think they will catch "the gay" or are genuinly a bit dim witted and simple? The mind boggles.🤔

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 24/10/2023 12:57

We once had a tradesmen who left shit stains all over our towel when he went to the loss. Heaven knows how. There was plenty of loo roll. He must have used the towel to clean his arse rather than loo roll.

I just do not understand how some men are not embarrassed about this. I remember the thread about a woman who's husband would leave his shitty boxers inside out in the laundry basket for her to wash. There were the usual 'be kind, he's obviously got a medical issue' responses but by far most women thought it was disgusting and said they wouldn't put up it. Why on earth would you think it was fine to do that in a stranger's house? I think in the case above I would have actually given a poor online review mentioning his disgusting habits. Honest to god if anything ever happens to DH I am never diving into the dating pool again it appears to be contaminated with a lot of shit anyway.

Oh god, I had similar happen. Tradesman who was only supposed to be here 5 minutes asked to use the loo. Fine. Went in afterwards and there was shitty toilet paper on the floor and shit still in the toilet. Fucking disgusting.

AlwaysPrettyOnTheInside · 24/10/2023 12:53

Did he wipe his arse on it deliberately? After using the toilet?

DontListenToWhatYouveConsumed · 24/10/2023 12:53

@WinkyTinky I hope you don't have to share a bed with him?
It sounds really miserable and good that you have an escape plan.
You shouldn't have to, but are you able to shower or bathe elsewhere for now? Mum, Dad, Siblings etc? Keep a nice towel there?

RachelSTG · 24/10/2023 12:49

I don't understand. I don't have shit in my arse before shower, never mind after shower. What's going on with that?

A lot of people are disgusting pigs who don't use enough loo roll so constantly have a shitty arse! (And some don't use loo roll at all!).

AlwaysPrettyOnTheInside · 24/10/2023 12:53

Why is his arsehole shitty after he's just had a shower? Jesus.

Get out as soon as you can OP.

Theoldwoman · 24/10/2023 12:43

Of course people have their own towels. Just like when growing up.

user1497207191 · 24/10/2023 12:43

If OH did that, it'd be going in the bin and I'd buy myself another nice fluffy new one!

But, if he did that, I'd probably be binning OH too! Just too gross and disgusting to live with a pig pretending to be a man who does that!

PickAChew · 24/10/2023 12:42

Obviously didn't give himself that good a scrub.

thedevilsgift · 24/10/2023 12:41

There was a post once from a woman who had sex with a bloke for the first time and he left shit stains on her bedhead ( which he apparently was leaning on whilst she performed a sex act on him). And, get this, she did not dump him but just cleaned it off and carried on seeing him!!!!

How low can your standards get?!

MangosteenSoda · 24/10/2023 12:41

I was going to suggest brushing this off with a simple conversation unless he had actually used the towel to wipe his bum… oh dear OP 😳

CrazyHamsterLady · 24/10/2023 12:39

Skiddies on a towel 🤮

Izzy54321 · 24/10/2023 12:37

Oh no 😟 this would end badly for my DP. He didn’t wash properly then had the bloody cheek to use your towel. How disgusting he owes you a new towel 🥺

HollaHolla · 24/10/2023 12:36

Two things - ewwww personal hygiene. Can he not actually wipe/wash his arsehole?
Also, sharing towels. Fine if they've been laundered, and put back in the cupboard. You just take the top clean one. BUT, if it's been used once or twice, and hung up on the rack, for use again. No, you don't use your partner/wife/friend/neighbour/dog's. Only one person should use it between launders.

Gavel

bathrobeandpie · 24/10/2023 12:08

did you mean to be so rude, or are you struggling to understand my posts?

Given that your post entirely ignored the nature of the towel soiling, I assumed you had only read the beginning of the thread and was politely pointing out to you that there was more to the thread than you had seen.

i was actually trying to be kind and helpful. More fool me. 😇

GigiAnnna · 24/10/2023 12:35

I wouldn't be bothered about my DH using the same towel as me. We have sex with other and sleep in the same bed after all, but I could not be with a dirty person who couldn't wash their arse properly. That is disgusting.

MargotBamborough · 24/10/2023 12:32

The fact that your husband used your towel is annoying, not disgusting.

The fact that he can't wipe his own arse properly is disgusting.

CatMadam · 24/10/2023 12:32

I don’t know why people are suggesting this is fake- unfortunately I’ve seen countless women on various forums discussing the reluctance some men seem to have concerning arse hygiene. I used to work as a cleaner and remember one particular toilet which a man had left covered in dried poo dust- I assume it must have been sitting in his pants until he pulled them down 🤢 the mind boggles!

OneTC · 24/10/2023 12:31

He's a grubby little shit-beast
