To think its disgusting that dh used my towel

Bought myself a new bath towel recently, a lovely pink fluffy thing, a treat just for me. Dh used it this morning, stuffed it into the wash basket, and went off on his way. So I took it out to get it straight in the washing machine only to find he'd really given himself a good scrub and left the evidence behind 😠Anger level 1-10?

@StoneColdAlibi literal shit.

I'm heaving for you 😂

Tally00 · 24/10/2023 10:52

Could you buy him some toilet paper?

And this.

Upbroom · 24/10/2023 10:50

By evidently do you mean shit or something? Because being that dirty after ‘washing’ would be a bigger issue for me than using the towel

This !

Meeting · 24/10/2023 11:27

Do people actually have designated towels? We just grab one before we go in the shower and put it in the washing basket after. I would find it really annoying to have to use a specific towel.

OhComeOnFFS · 24/10/2023 11:25

Can you tell us why you're with this man?

@StoneColdAlibi literal shit.

Why the fuck is there shit on him if he’s just got out of the shower (why else would he be using a towel??)?? Rancid.

yep, this!! ^

Notwhatyouwanttohear · 24/10/2023 11:19

What the hell.

Absolute filth.

Have you not told him he is worse than an animal if he has previous for leaving shit on towels.

Tally00 · 24/10/2023 11:19

Perhaps his mum was busy and couldn't come and wipe his arse so he used your towel in his desperation.

SwingTheMonkey · 24/10/2023 11:19

WinkyTinky · 24/10/2023 11:01

He does the same with his own towel. I don't do his washing anymore. And there is certainly no sex.

There’s clearly bigger problems here than just the towel.

bathrobeandpie · 24/10/2023 11:18

Anyone leaving "evidence" on a towel is a disrespectful pig, it's not acceptable and beyond disgusting.

In my house, no one uses other people's towel, it's just rude.

Honeybee798 · 24/10/2023 11:17

😳I don’t think using the towel is the issue here. Surely the issue is that he’s not cleaning himself properly at all and is disgustingly unhygienic? Never said it before but LTB. What grown adult doesn’t know how to clean their arse?

Catspyjamas17 · 24/10/2023 11:16

I wouldn't care - our towels are the same design, DH sometimes grabs the wrong one and they certainly are not washed after every use.

This isn't about the towel, I wouldn't care if my husband used my towel because my husband isn't a minging grot who cuts about all day with a shitty arse.

This. LOL @ "minging grot".

Then leave.

Is the pooh a regular thing, something that contributed to wanting your own towel?

I think sharing towels is the norm in a Household, generally. As for mistakes like pooh, if rare then annoying but not entirely unexpected. If a regular issue, then yuk, it should be embarrassing and something a person is keen to work on improving their method.

Annoying but not entirely unexpected??? It’s never happened to me or anyone I’ve lived with- how can you wipe your arse then have a shower and there STILL be shit there?

Aposterhasnoname · 24/10/2023 11:15

How can he still be covered in shit after washing. Where do people find these revolting men, FFS.

MrsSkylerWhite · 24/10/2023 11:14

Oh it’s poo. I thought giving himself a good scrub was a euphemism 🤣 Ignore me and my warped mind.

Yes, a shitty towel isn’t nice.

billyt · 24/10/2023 11:14

My wife wouldn't blink if I used her towel, even though I never have.

But to get actual shit on a towel is totally disgusting and unnecessary.

Your 'D'P is a dirty bastard. I can't imagine having a shower and still have a shitty arse. Does he not know how to clean himself after a shit? The mind boggles.

femfemlicious · 24/10/2023 11:14

Where I come from, people have their own personal towel😁

VeridicalVagabond · 24/10/2023 11:12

Why are so many women ok with being married to, sharing a bed with, having sex with grown adult men who don't know how to wash their arse?

This isn't about the towel, I wouldn't care if my husband used my towel because my husband isn't a minging grot who cuts about all day with a shitty arse.

MrsSkylerWhite · 24/10/2023 11:10

Have you had sex with him?

Bit of a mess on a towel seems trivial in comparison 🤷‍♀️

YABU for being married to a man who can't wash his own arse and worrying about a towel

@StoneColdAlibi literal shit.

Bloody hell. That's gross. Can he not wash or wipe his own arse properly?
