To think its disgusting that dh used my towel

Bought myself a new bath towel recently, a lovely pink fluffy thing, a treat just for me. Dh used it this morning, stuffed it into the wash basket, and went off on his way. So I took it out to get it straight in the washing machine only to find he'd really given himself a good scrub and left the evidence behind 😠Anger level 1-10?

Do people actually have designated towels? We just grab one before we go in the shower and put it in the washing basket after. I would find it really annoying to have to use a specific towel.

So do we but then me, DH and DS have never had shit on our towels because we can wipe and/or wash our bums

@Wonkasworld I bloody loved that towel. The last time I bought towels was in 2005 when I moved into my first flat and I've made do with worn out torn bits of shred for years. This was my bloody special towel! You're right, I won't be wanting to snuggle into it again.

And in reply to everyone else, I am on my way out of this relationship, don't worry.

This is where whatsapp is so good if you are on any family chats with him. Take a picture of the shitty towel and post it on there, OBVIOUSLY meaning to send it straight to him... asking "If you cant be bothered to use toilet roll, can you not use your own towel to wipe yourself?"

Sharing a towel isn't a crime in this house, but leaving shit on one certainly would be. I'm baffled that he's got to adulthood without learning how to clean himself properly. Surely most people manage that at a young age?

I mean, I was slightly concerned that one of my kids might not be able to wipe her bum properly by the time she started school, but she just about got there in time. She'd only just turned 4 when she started Reception. If a slightly immature 4 year old can be taught, your 'D'H can sure as heck learn!! Just gross.

😂How hard can it be to use your own towel? Do you share toothbrushes too?

well, that's a reason why my towels don't need to be washed after one use for a start, we know how to clean ourselves and our own towel is more likely dry by the time we have our next shower.
