To think its disgusting that dh used my towel

Bought myself a new bath towel recently, a lovely pink fluffy thing, a treat just for me. Dh used it this morning, stuffed it into the wash basket, and went off on his way. So I took it out to get it straight in the washing machine only to find he'd really given himself a good scrub and left the evidence behind 😠Anger level 1-10?

Oops! I have posted on an ancient thread - lol 🤣

What do you mean by 'evidence'?

I think that would be obvious to most people…

Sumthingsweet · 04/11/2023 22:28

Where is the OP prob still scraping the shit off the towel …

Sumthingsweet · 04/11/2023 22:27

So he left poo on your towel and instead of confronting him you come and tell us - oh my word I shove it in his face

Pooooochi · 02/11/2023 09:14

The issue isn't him borrowing your towel, its his inability to wash properly. There shouldn't be anything on a towel used to dry after a bath/shower except clean water

MammaPenny · 02/11/2023 09:11

Just chuck it in the bin.

The husband not the towel, a boil wash will sort that out.

Getting sick of the shit obsession on MN YABU

Poo trolls are a part of the MN fabric. It's entertainment as I have insomnia.

IloveJudgeJudy · 02/11/2023 05:27

He’s definitely doing it on purpose to mark his territory and show you who’s boss.

LM(clean)AO! 😀😁😂

monsteramunch · 01/11/2023 23:26

How is your plan to end the relationship coming along OP?

ScruffMuffin · 01/11/2023 20:53

Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Buy yourself a new towel and put it where he won't find it. And buy him a brown one.

WinkyTinky · 01/11/2023 20:50

He's used the towel again.

Presumably he didn't deliberately get shit on it. Like, use it like bog roll. Followed through and not realised? It isn't something that's happened to me, but I've known it happen to my patients before now. With some constipated people you could wipe for ever more and they'd never be clean.

He'd just got out of the shower.

If he had a medical condition seems likely op would have mentioned it.
And sometimes people are dicks and so shit stuff on purpose to upset other people.

Is the pooh a regular thing, something that contributed to wanting your own towel?

I think sharing towels is the norm in a Household, generally. As for mistakes like pooh, if rare then annoying but not entirely unexpected. If a regular issue, then yuk, it should be embarrassing and something a person is keen to work on improving their method.

Leave Winnie alone. They know how to wipe their bare bear bum thank you very much.

Poodlepup · 01/11/2023 11:29

Misses it. Wondered why the fuss, but did select YANBU anyway

FeverBeam · 01/11/2023 11:26

Poodlepup · 01/11/2023 11:22

You never said there was shit on the towel, was there or wasn't there?

Crazy idea, but maybe read the Op's posts?

If you did you'd see she said he left 'literal shit' on the towel.

Poodlepup · 01/11/2023 11:26

Oops missed that. Thanks.

You never said there was shit on the towel, was there or wasn't there?

Read the OP's second post made 4 minutes after the first. In answer to the question "what evidence?" she said "literal shit".

PinkRoses1245 · 24/10/2023 11:39

This. Get a grip and some perspective

Except op has said she doesn't have sex with him. And even tho I have sex with DH, it's no excuse for literally wiping his shit / poo / faeces off on a TOWEL
