Porn culture has led to women suffering injuries during sex

Apart from all the violence etc porn portrays as normal, anal sex is definitely treated as an everyday thing that women enjoy. I don't personally. I know some women claim they do but I've certainly known men who pressure for it and I'm guessing it's only got worse in the years since I was dating.

This article suggests women are unknowingly entering into something that can cause serious injuries.

Do you ever have constipated large bowel movements? I have and I'm not incontinent I've also needed an enema in the past for constipation after an operation still not incontinent. I work in healthcare and the people who are doubly incontinent are usually 70+ caused by Dementia not because they had a cock up their backside too many times.

Again, idiotic. Of course there are other causes of anal incontinence which we may not be able to avoid. This one we can. So again, I ask, what’s the “safe” level?
there isn’t one. So the right advice is if you don’t want a leaky bum, steer clear.

what’s the “safe” level below which you can be sure you don’t end up in nappies? Anyone know?
maybe better to explain it’s not a good idea full
stop.

Lots of stuff in porn ….

should everyone be educated on everything in porn?

When it becomes mainstream and women are getting injured from it yes

I do agree we need information available for teens starting to experiment with sex.
First up, the point that actually the great majority of heterosexual couples don’t do anal sex and most women actually don’t like it. That’s real life - pretty different to what you see in porn. And so if you don’t want to do it you are actually completely normal.

However, there are some women who do like it, and if you do want to try it, there should be information available on how to do it safely and what the potential risks are. That’s what I’ll be telling my kids anyway.

Oh watch out you'll be called a groomer soon

Can't be teaching children about safe sexual practice outside the missionary position didn't you know!

@TullyApplebottom

Projection now huh

Who said women who are open to anal sex are superior to those who don't?

Again, enjoy being on the out with your very strange and judgmental opinions on other peoples sex lives

Fifife · 13/08/2022 08:04

There definitely needs to be education. Hook ups and ons should not be having anal sex or play because it needs a lot more preparation to be safer. There's misconception in porn that men can immediately insert with no lube which isn't true also I'd say having anal really regularly isn't good for your health. Occasionally well lubed won't cause any long term damage but porn stars are getting anal prolapses from having too much anal.

If a woman actually wants to try anal of her own free will with a new partner she should take the lead , go on top so she can control it. Porn teaches women to be passive and it's men just doing stuff to them.

TullyApplebottom · 13/08/2022 08:07

PollyRockets · 13/08/2022 08:04

Well yes

Knowing how to have sex safely is usually a good thing no?

Plus I hate anal, hurts like hell for me

I don't however pretend other women can't enjoy it or judge those who do

Maybe you can look back on this (as I'm thinking you're already in old age with so antiquated views) and evaluate how you behave

We have a full house here …. Women who are open to risky sexual acts are superior to women who aren’t. Women who aren’t must be that way because they are old, repressed, ignorant about sex or otherwise uncool. People who engage in risky sexual acts must never be made to feel bad about that in any way.
the Bullshit Bible has been swallowed whole by this one.

PollyRockets · 13/08/2022 08:04

TullyApplebottom · 13/08/2022 07:58

But you’re so clever, knowing how to do anal sex “safely”, aren’t you. What an achievement for you to look back on in old age.

most porn shows all this prep work in detail does it?

Nope

Hence why we need to educate people

The horse has already bolted

Pretending it's still in the stable helps no one

PollyRockets · 13/08/2022 08:01

@TullyApplebottom

I'm starting to think you're just never going to understand a basic concept of relationships and sex tbh.

I'm going to say it one last time as I cba to play chess with a pigeon

Having anal sex with someone you trust and like = more likely to use adequate lubrication, go slowly and care about you during the process

Having anal sex with a random person = more likely to not use lube, not go slowly, not give a shit if you can sit for the next week

Having anal sex with lubrication and going slowly minimises risk

How is that a hard concept to grasp

“Prep work”
it’s supposed to be fun not work. God almighty. The fact “work” has to be done is an obvious pointer to the fact that this is an act with risk attached. And it doesn’t matter how cooperative he is, that risk doesn’t go away.

I was just thinking this

TullyApplebottom · 13/08/2022 07:57

PollyRockets · 13/08/2022 07:54

@TullyApplebottom

It does

If well lubricated and done properly the risks are minimised

Do you really not comprehend the difference between a penis being shoved up your anus with no lubrication at speed is going to be more harmful to your body, than a penis covered in lube that goes in slowly so your muscles can adjust, thus removing the issues anal sex can cause?

Do you not comprehend that the physical risks of this act do not go away because you happen to like the person you’re doing it with?

Christ you really are struggling here aren't you

What do you not understand about anal sex needing extra work to make it enjoyable

Doing it with someone you trust means they're more likely to be aligned with the prep work

Doing it with a random man from the pub you're more likely to have his sausage shoved up there with no gravy

Does it matter? It's important to clarify.
I misread something you said because I was slim reading. The point still stands. We dont teach year fives anything like the kind of content you are advocating. Let it go.

Rest assured that in the real world any teachers advocating pushing anal sex pleasure education on children would be reported as a child safety issue.

The key is it didn't need clarification

You not understanding doesn't mean it's a common issue

Maybe look inwardly

FOJN · 13/08/2022 07:45

My issue with pornography is not the acts which are shown but with the normalisation of them without the required communication and preperation beforehand. So many perople, BOTH men and women, see what happens in porn and think they have an automatic need or right to replicate what they have seen. I really think all porn should require disclaimers by the professionals involved where they verbalise to the camera beforehand what they have consented to do in the scene people are about to see and what preperations were taken for it.

Performers issuing disclaimers in porn videos already happens. Pornography is a business and is all about making money. Porn makers require investment just like any other business but the banks are less inclined to lend money to any project which may not reflect well on them ethically or morally. Someone came up with the bright idea of having abused female porn performers finish horrifically violent videos with them speaking to camera to say how much they loved how they'd been abused and couldn't wait to do it again, complete with big smiles even as their mascara runs down their face from being choked by some bloke ramming his dick so face down their throat they can't breath. It's a lie.

Gail Dines has studied pornography for years, the video linked below is eye opening.
She says it's money which makes the porn makers hard, not sex. There is nothing evenly remotely erotic about the porn industry.

I'm 😂and 😳at the bumsex positive posters.

There seems to be a high correlation between desire to engage in anal sex and propensity to say stupid and illogical things. Funny that.
