To love a shark film

Currently sat watching "Great White" on sky cinema... it got a 1 star waiting.. im loving it!!

Please tell me I am not alone in my love for a good shark film? Also any recommendations on others I might not have seen!

I think the same about piranha - it’s a really good film apart from the utterly gratuitous nudity. Pisses me off.

Oh the naked 'lesbian' porn swimming is ridiculous. I was listening to a podcast talking about it and the host suggested it was literally made to excite teenage boys. Other than that I do enjoy that film. The sequel was poor trash though

I rewatched The Shallows the other day, good fun

I rewatched it yesterday, apart from a lot of unnecessary shots of Blake's arse it's quite a good film.

I watched Deep Blue Sea recently and definitely leaving that for a bit longer. Its quite cartoonish in violence but alot more blood / gore / severed limbs etc

Interested on thoughts on how Deep Blue Sea ranks in scariness alongside these two. Itching to watch that one with them.

Had a proud day yesterday when I watched the Meg with my two kids, they adored it and begged to go on to the Meg 2 immediately!

I want my £6 back because what a load of shit that was 😂😂😂 most shark films are brilliant because they’re terrible…that was just terrible!

I thought it was terrible, the plot was paper thin and the acting was so shonky. Nowhere near enough shark action either.

(I also spotted that sequels to 2 headed shark have been made-called 3/4/5 and 6 headed shark! They do look awful.)

We watched No Way Up but I couldn't find this thread at the time! Loved it. Especially as Mrs Hughes from Downton was in it.

just back from watching Something in the Water so reporting for my verdict. i enjoyed it - there’s nothing new or ground breaking about it but the characters weren’t particularly annoying and it looks gorgeous. not much shark footage - more just lots of shots of a fin. more of a survival horror film that happens to feature sharks than non stop shark action.
