Is this song about asphyxiation during sex or am I an old gimmer who's read it wrong? Please help!

Good for you. Hopefully thats a choice you've made yourself and not something you have been conditioned to enjoy through men who watch porn. What you do in your bedroom with a consenting partner is up to you.

What is not okay about this, is that it's being played via radio stations and music channels, further pushing the boundaries of what kids thinks is and is not acceptable and expected of them in sexual relationships.

I hope you practice 'safe choking' and don't end up like one of them poor women who have died during such practices and the 'rough sex defence' has been used.

Whenever asphyxiation is brought up, there is always one poster who says "I like being choked"... So fucking what?!!!

It's the normalisation of practices like this that young girls end up dead.

I think it's a bit more than that actually, I think she asks him to kill her during sex. I hate it, I usually like him but this has put me right off him.

Just looked at the lyrics and it is definitely about a woman asking to be choked during sex.

So it's not just porn now. It's in mainstream pop songs.

Makes me feel sick.
