Ive NC for this as I'm a regular and this is a bit random I know! I've had a few relationships over the years and not been really satisfied with sex. Find myself fantasising about being with a man who is a real expert. Not sure I could ever have the nerve to do so and would have no idea where to start! And certainly not now for obvious reasons but I'm curious and would love to hear about other's experiences.

@Opheliaa

If it’s just another job you will be suggesting it as a profession to your kids along with all the others?

There's plenty of high risk jobs that I wouldn't be suggesting to my kids as a profession. Selling sex is one of them. It doesn't mean it isn't a legitimate job (for those who have genuinely chosen to do so.).

Do you think it should be included in school career guidance?

Or that those claiming unemployment benefits should be obliged to take it up or risk losing those benefits?

If it's a 'legitimate' job, then surely the answer to both of the above will be 'yes'.

@Coyoacan

When I was younger I met young men in tourist parts of Mexico who lived off female tourists. It was really sad to see that effect of tourism.
Did you see that programme that was on recently about young men in the Dominican Republic? It was a bit creepy and weird.

OP get yourself on Tinder and say you're up for casual sex. The men who advertise themselves as male prostitutes just fancy themselves as ladies men and want lots of sex

Yohoheaveho · 17/01/2021 13:55

@Kanaloa

And I don’t think you can buy a ‘satisfying shag’ because I wouldn’t be satisfied to know I had to pay for someone to want to have sex with me. I think it’s better to be naive than to be able to enjoy sex with someone who isn’t enjoying it.
Isn't that the crux of the matter, if someone feels satisfied by paid for sex then by definition they are not interested in it being a mutual experience they do not care if the other person is revolted they only care about their own pleasure or perhaps their pleasure is increased by knowing that the other person is revolted but has to do it anyway?
EmilyInParis · 17/01/2021 13:55

I see the OP hasn't been back in a while..

WankPuffins · 17/01/2021 13:54

No but I knew on once.

Well, he fitted my bathroom and we got chatting.

His dad owned an escort company and he worked for him on the side. I found that really grim.

My plumber wouldn’t mend my boiler for free in real life either. Is it coercive that I pay him?

Nope, just another legitimate job.[/quote]

Bence69 · 17/01/2021 13:48

@Somuddled

Of course I wouldn't because you can't buy consent and therefore I would be sexually abusing them.
Oh Jesus!
thosetalesofunexpected · 17/01/2021 13:41

@CutToChase

"What is AMA for a male prostitute mean then"?
Out of Curiosity.😕

SweetLoveOfCod · 17/01/2021 13:40

@TheChampagneGalop

Yoni massage! Brian is that you?
😂😂😂
VestaTilley · 17/01/2021 13:38

No. I think paying for sex is wrong and true consent can not be given.

Women should not buy men’s bodies and men sure as hell shouldn’t buy women’s. The human body is not a workplace.

SweetLoveOfCod · 17/01/2021 13:37

@TammyHullfigure

Expert? Are you for real? Sex is about chemistry, passion, attraction.... You will not get that with a prostitute. You will be a business transaction.
Have to agree with this. The best sex is about chemistry and attraction. Hiring a prostitute is more like an expensive wank.
YouJustDoYou · 17/01/2021 13:37

No, but because I have vulvodynia/dyspareunia. Any thought of something going in me makes me utterly cringe.

Whiskysoda · 17/01/2021 13:36

No, to me sex is all about love

Sex and love do not need to to go hand in hand @Kanaloa, yes it’s lovely that you love the man you have sex with, but you also seem to be incredibly naive. I’ve had plenty of great sex with people who I barely know, no love, just great sex. Quit being so tunnel visioned. Op wasn’t asking about buying live or affection or friendship, just a good honest satisfying shag.

Emeraldshamrock · 17/01/2021 13:34

It is legal to sell yourself/ body for sex afaik from an AMA female prostitute she paid her Tax and NI as a sex worker.
I think it is okay if you work alone not running a brothel.

NoProblem123 · 17/01/2021 13:32

Initially I thought yes, life’s short, go for it.

Then I remembered an occasion I was in a local gym’s jacuzzi with a friend, and this older bloke got in with 2 much younger ladies, and they were stroking his thinning hair and trying to wrap their skinny arms around his beer gut and I just felt so sorry for all 3 of them Sad

thosetalesofunexpected · 17/01/2021 13:31

Hi Op
😕 Have you thought of exploring the idea of looking into sexual Therapy?
if you are not happy(unsatisfied with sexual experiences in your Past...

I wait to be Flamboreed by the Pitch forks/fire brigade now I have made that suggestion.! L.o.l 😂

IcedPurple · 17/01/2021 13:31

@Whiskysoda

Why would anyone use a male prostitute? It’s not like it’s hard to find a man willing to shag you!

Whatever you want from a prostitute you can get from some guy on tinder or any other on line dating/sex site or down the pub or from a club.

Casual sex is quite risky for women, with a poor risk-benefit profile. Some, statistically a tiny number, might feel it's safer to use the services of a 'pro'.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 17/01/2021 13:27

I'm a writer and I did a piece about female prostitutes once. I was shocked at how little they like their job - but the high pay keeps them stuck in it, as nothing else will pay that much.

Really? You were shocked by how little they liked having multiple strangers pay to use their bodies as a sex toy?

thosetalesofunexpected · 17/01/2021 13:17

Hi Op
Very unausaul/Alternative Thread Post !

You say you have experienced unsatisfactory sexual experinces in relantships

I think you need to explore/think why you have had such unsatisfying sexual experiences in relantships before..
Are you Assertive enough about your personal preferences on intimacy and sexuality in relantships?

Tantric sex and karma sutra have more empathise on the intimacy mind body Connection of the female sexuality .

This I think would be beneficial for you...😕

Kanaloa · 17/01/2021 13:12

No, to me sex is all about love. I feel connected to DH and that’s what makes it special to me. I couldn’t pay for sex, it would totally put me off knowing that if I hadn’t handed over x amount of money this person wouldn’t have wanted to be with me.
