Actually I quite like him as he looks now!

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 03/06/2020 10:18

I can't stop thinking of Mark Darcy when I see him. Not a bad thing but Colin Filth is much better looking. I prefer KS now though, like a PP I prefer a fat man!

Bbang · 03/06/2020 10:15

I think he looks like Lee from Gogglebox Grin

PeskyEdith · 03/06/2020 10:15

he complies with socially conditioned expectations of what a leader should look and sound like

How did we end up with Boris Johnson as PM?

Mumoblue · 03/06/2020 10:12

Not even remotely!

Plus he's a politician so that automatically gives me the ick.

Don't get me wrong, I'm generally a Labour voter (or an anything but Tory voter) but yeah... no.

pontiouspilates · 03/06/2020 10:09

I find him quite bland looking, if anyone remembers Max Headroom, it's that kind of vibe he gives me. Love him at PMQs though!

Daisydoesnt · 03/06/2020 10:07

He comes across as measured and intelligent and is the complete opposite of Johnson. I find intelligence very attractive.

This!!
There was actually a really interesting interview with him the FT a couple of weekends ago and he came across really well. Apparently much of his career has been pro bono work rather than just chasing the big bucks; a man of principle then?

Isn’t it PMQs at lunchtime today??

I am very much looking forward to Starmer skewering Johnson and hope we don’t have to wait too much longer.

That FT article; sorry if link doesn’t work

I quite like him but not keen on his weird quiff. He needs a hair restyle.

MsTSwift · 03/06/2020 10:02

Unlike Boris “man of the people”🙄🙄

Helendee · 03/06/2020 10:01

Greasy, nasal posh boy.
No thanks!

AgeLikeWine · 03/06/2020 10:01

@Wilberforce42

Did he inherit his knighthood or was it awarded?
Awarded. He was Director of Public Prosecutions for five years. Like many senior civil service roles, the knighthood comes with the job.
MsTSwift · 03/06/2020 10:01

It was awarded he was seen to do an excellent job at the CPS and was well thought of. He went to state school that became private while he was there and is a QC which is as good as it gets for a barrister. He is a legal heavyweight.

MsTSwift · 03/06/2020 09:59

He is a QC. He is going to annihilate Boris in due course. Looking forward to it!

Mittens030869 · 03/06/2020 09:56

I think he looks better now as well.

AgeLikeWine · 03/06/2020 09:55

He is undoubtedly a very handsome man, and he complies with socially conditioned expectations of what a leader should look and sound like. Which, for the Labour Party, is something of a miracle after four years of the useless, unelectable Corbyn.

Mucklowe · 03/06/2020 09:51

He looks like Kryten off Red Dwarf before he became a cyborg.

AntiHop · 03/06/2020 09:45

I think he's got better with age.

PeskyEdith · 03/06/2020 09:43

He even managed to carry a wig off!

Badoukas · 03/06/2020 09:43

He's better now and I quite fancy him.

TwentyViginti · 03/06/2020 09:42

Nah, in that pic he looks like a baffled robot.

Wannabangbang · 03/06/2020 09:36

Yes omg back in the day i would have had him for breakfast yum yum

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 03/06/2020 09:28

Yeah, good looking guy but ..... nothing like my type. Next Smile

Patienceisvirtuous · 03/06/2020 09:28
