AIBU to ask what’s the longest you’ve been without sex?

What’s the longest you’ve been without sex? What were the reasons? Did you cope with it OK? How? Or was it unbearable? Did you end up shagging someone random? Or waited for a new committed relationship?

I’m starting to miss it after 2 years of being happily sex-free (divorce in progress) and I’m feeling a bit lost to be honest. I’m in my mid-forties, is that it for me then?

About a year. Whole time I was pregnant and a few months after the birth.
I'd had a miscarriage (i wasnt aware i was pregnant) and it all came away when we were having sex one night so we were too scared to have sex during the next pregnancy, I would have liked to towards to end but exp didn't like the bump.

Um it'll be two years in September, and five years before that.
Medication killed my sex drive stone dead.

I'm mid forties and doubt I'll ever have sex again.
Last shag was crap as well, to add insult to injury.

How are we defining sex here - like if you have an orgasm by yourself or does it have to be with a partner? Or any sexual activity even if you don’t climax?

Had a month away with friends when DH & I were engaged and that was the longest I went without since I was 17. In late 50’s now and still love it (and him) to bits

Maybe about 14 months when I was single and pregnant with my fist DS. Didn't shag a random after either, had one other partner before I met DP and been together 8 years.

Blimey, I don't know... maybe 9 years? I don't think I've had sex since I was maybe 38.
