runs into our bedroom at 6am in the morning and starts poking, patting and shouting at DH until he wakes up and acknowledges her, even though he is currently on late shifts and needs a lie in?

I suspect DH thinks I am but she asks for Dada the second I lift her from the cot and I don't like to refuse my PFB.....

Ooh, IABU? Shit. He does go straight back to sleep and has been snoring away for another 3 and a half hours while I am down here mainlining coffee.

And his late shifts mean he works 2-10, not like a real late shift.

Any better?

It's nice that she loves her daddy but you could let him get his sleep too - you'll suffer and so will dd if he ends up sleep deprived. I've been sleep deprived (haven't we all), it's not nice!
