To ask whether you were one of the 1000+ women that slept with Mick Hucknall?

I’m watching TOTP 1986 and Simply Red were just on. I was thinking about Mick Hucknall’s claim that he slept with 1000+ women and thought that if that’s true, it’s likely that some of you are on here.
So go on then, did any of you sleep with Mick Hucknall?

The Martine McCutcheon one was true! There was a picture of them both in the back of a car when she was either being sick on him or just had been sick on him. His dreads disappeared really soon after IIRC. I think he was irritated by it because it didn’t fit his ‘Mr Lover Lover’ image to have him known for picking up girls who were worse for wear.

I think he was quite attractive in his youth; definitely had something about him. And he's always been quite charming and interesting, in a champagne socialist kind of way, whenever I've seen him interviewed.

Looking at his recent photos, he's had some ill advised work done. And red haired people tend not to age well.

I'm a ginger myself though, so no anti ginger prejudice here.

I've been in a lift with Mick Hucknall, in a hotel in New York, but he didn't try to shag me. Just as well since there was a lift operator, and also my bf (at the time) in there with us.

Actually we didn't realise it was him even though the lift man barked 'ARE YOU MICK?' and he said 'yes'. The penny dropped about an hour later.

I was a big fan of Simply Red in the day. Thought the songwriting and musicianship was great. Always thought it was strange how SR never seem to be in any ‘best of British’ shows such as Olympics opening ceremony etc...

The last time Martine McC claimed that she vomited in his dreadlocks (fairly recently) he came out and called her a liar. He said he was sick of her dining out on her little story.

I remember years ago that Jonathan Ross said on his Radio show something about hating the vile man - words to that effect. He hinted he knew something about him....

I saw him in a supermarket in Surrey. Taller than anticipated but unfortunately has not aged well. He has a complexion like a candle that is slowly melting, really strange looking feller. I cannot imagine anybody fancying him, even back in the day.

I don't mind his music for some mellow background ambiance though. Although can't remember when I last heard any of it.

No definitely not, I am saving myself for Keanu! Although there are 6 degrees of separation between me and Keanu due to a fling I had years ago in Stratford with a leading actor, last seen in a film about a murder on a train.
