On the Robbie note - a close friend of mine had Robbie come on to her at a party when he was at the height of his solo career fame. He was incredibly rude about her boyfriend (who was present), being far too full of himself and followed her round all night trying to get her to go to bed with him. Not MH or RB but several years ago (pre-DH) I was persuaded into bed by a very successful and well known jockey. Not Hucknall, but John Leslie tales.... I worked in a well-known club in Edinburgh in the early 90s, whilst I was a student, and he was a regular, when visiting his family back home. My flatmate’s friend, and another barmaid both had flings with him. He liked considerably younger women, and was pretty bitey/aggressive with them - or so they told. I served a lot of the Manchester 80s people in a city centre shop. Can't speak of their sexual prowess but Bill Roache was unfailingly lovely whilst Audrey Gail's mum was very "do you know who I am" (as was Richard Madeley and the posh bloke from Brookside) MH came with an entourage of blokes in black leather coats while yer man from New Order came alone.
