... motor" by a learing guy with a bright red face, who chose to open his car door right beside me and hang out the door just to tell me this, whilst he was unnervingly drooling at me or motor (neither of us are that great) in a quiet car park late at night? Could he not just keep the comment to himself?

I was terrified to go into the shop but relieved to find he was gone when I came out.

Neither did I, but then, when my son had his appendix out I was told it was a really cute little appendix. (not to be confused with accute appencities, which he also had - surgery was performed abroad whilst on holiday, so foreign languages were applied) See, beauty is applied everywhere in life....

it hadn't even occured to me that there could be a ranking of prettiness in such things before...

geekgirl · 27/06/2007 16:32

pmsl here at the beautiful internal genitalia
I guess if you look at uteruses and cervixes day in, day out you kind of lose your inhibitions

Kewcumber · 27/06/2007 16:29

don;t think there was any wrong with my hearing as he went on to descibe it but am now feeling a tad jealous that I don;t have a "Rolls Royce" of a cervix.

I was in for a colposcopy only to dicsover that the abnormal cells were too widespread so it was (IMHO) particularly inappropriate. In fact I mentioned to my GP and even she did a bit of a double-take!

indiasmum · 27/06/2007 16:05

kewcumber- he didnt say you had acute angina did he? you may have misheard and misinterpreted

flightattendant · 27/06/2007 15:58

Sounds like he was pissed. YANBU.

MrsSpoon · 27/06/2007 15:56

ROFL @ these! I suppose I should consider myself lucky that the guy didn't leer out his car to yell 'Excuse me, I just wanted to tell you, you've got a nice cervix'!

My mum was told she had a "Rolls Royce of a uterus"

StarryStarryNight · 26/06/2007 23:52

So complementing goes with the job then?! Even for this? ewwww

lucylala · 26/06/2007 23:48

i was told by an ultra sound lady that my uterus was 'lovely and juicy' !!!

StarryStarryNight · 26/06/2007 23:47

Thats amazing, Kewcumber, we have something in common .... I was also told by gynaecologist that I have a very beautiful and symmetrical cervix! Had she not been a female gynaecologist I would have been totally freaked out!

MrsSpoon · 26/06/2007 23:29

shudder< a the pretty cervix.

It was also the fact that the guy actually demanded my attention by shouting "excuse me".

Yabr MrsSpoon - esp with the bright red face in a dark car park - ? ewwww

Kewcumber · 26/06/2007 22:15

it was particularly creepy as he was peering at it at the time. Srry MrsS hijacked your thread with my cervix.

Smutti · 26/06/2007 22:12

Recalling images of the creepy gyno from "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle".

Smutti · 26/06/2007 22:11

Kewcumber! Nearly reportable!

Kewcumber · 26/06/2007 22:10

perhaps he's the same man who admired MrsSpoon motor?!

Kewcumber · 26/06/2007 22:09

I asked not to see him again as I thought it was a bit creepy. Was legs akimbo on the table at the time... eeeeeewww.

pointydog · 26/06/2007 22:07

a pretty cervix.

maybe that's his chat up line

PeachesMcLean · 26/06/2007 22:06

Oeeeeaaarrrrgghhhh!!!

pointydog · 26/06/2007 22:06

ahhhh, there you go. You have got a nice motor .

Keep your windows up at all times.

Kewcumber · 26/06/2007 22:05

actually the exact words were "pretty". Apparently I have a pretty cervix

madamez · 26/06/2007 22:04

Not surprised you were disconcerted but he sounds like harmless shambling nut with low social skills rather than dangerous bad person.

Kewcumber · 26/06/2007 22:04

better than being told by a gynaecologist that I had a nice cervix...
