Or should we only be posting about terribly serious weighty matters like death, famine and pestilence?

Like others say sometimes you need to talk about rubbish!! And that's very important, IM(not very)HO.

I am a pledged frivolous crap only poster. Did serious and argy bargy, just made me cross and wound up.

I have been in nonsence heaven the last few weeks 'seriously' discussing sponge recipes and cup cake decoration.

Now we're doing an afternoon tea for one.
All welcome.

If you want to post frivolous crap, it is absolutely fine IMO, as long as it is not in one of the more serious sections.

Every time there is a Heated Debate about serious issues - things kick off.
