There is nothing competitive about my marriage.....DH just buys his own cars, me mine.....I have a nicer one than DH, because I get paid more, am better at my job, manage money better etc....he is fine with it all ....

hatrick - completely agree on non-competitive marriage - I don't think a competitive marriage is a "proper" marriage, actually. Marriage is about each contributing their best for mutual benefit and enacting economies of scale for the greater good of the family IMO.

And in our house DP buys the car, because I drive it. He can't drive, so if he wants a lift to his football/rugby/cricket matches he'd better bloody well suplly the wheels.

binkleandflip · 26/06/2007 14:40

Oh, thanks nom,

IntergalacticWalrus · 26/06/2007 14:38

I might have known how this tghread turned out.

Anyway, I have fallen out with cars. Mines' j7st cost me the best part of 250 squids.

binkleandflip · 26/06/2007 14:33

Have a good meeting, dont forget to to launch a hostile takeover bid, thus bumping your status up no end whilst you're there and make Xenia and Mozhe proud!!!!
