In being disappointed that parents of other children in ds's nursery

have sent round a chain style sticker club letter. He is 3.
Not that they know but I am on my own with dd and ds at the moment, trying to cope with working and managing everything else. I could have cried when I opened the letter asking to send stickers to other children in his class at their home address. I don't have the time and I don't have any bl**dy stickers. Plus I HATE chain letters.

just say you dont like chain letters and dont want your child involved.
personally apart from the time and cost I think its fum recieving little gifts in the post. these are harmless

AND what noodle said. you are not being unreasonable. I'd tell them i wasn't going to do it. I'm too nice and would say I just don't have the time, but if you're more upfront than I am you could say that you object on principle.

YANBU .. was it in the book bag? have a word with the school and tell them you feel chain letters are inappropriate

no your not I hate chain letters of any form because of this reason someone always feels bad or like they have to ontinue the chain

I would be really cross if they allowed this at ds nursery and would refuse to get involved

he wont know any better if you dont do it as they are going to home adresses

Flippin' heck, pf, what a pain in the behind. Will it be obvious that you didn't do it, if you don't? I assume so.

Does that mean they've given you everyone's home address? Not on, surely. I'd be royally peed off if my pre-school gave my home address to everyone else (not that they don't know where I live already, they do, I live in a village, but that's not the point.)

I hate all chain letters - whether they be stickers, recipes, money or death threats. They are rude and presumptious.
