Bloody mirror saga continues. Now we can't even get an exchange for a smaller mirror even if we are willing to pay a £100 cancellation fee. Marks and Spencer will not take the mirror back under any circumstances. So am stuck with ugly HUGE mirror forever. Fingers crossed some ebayer with an enormous house will want it.

Apparently I had 7 days after ordering to change my mind (how could I as I didn't realise it was huge until I saw it?
) and now they are under no obligation to do anything about it as it was my own mistake. I wrote to the customer service boss but he just repeated the legal stuff and said he trusts the matter is now closed.

Sorry if you've explained before, but why on earth won't they refund or exchange??

deaconblue · 06/06/2007 18:49

Hey Twiglett, if you want to buy it you can have it for £200 (cost £349) if you can collect...
Just want enough to be able to afford to buy a smaller mirror and cut our losses now

It's a beautiful oak mirror that Iw anted for above my fireplace but I stupidly didn't read the measurements properly and it's bloody massive (the size of our dining room wall). It is fab but just too too big for our house. We hoped they would refund it but now they won't even let us swap a smaller (much cheaper) one for the huge expensive one. will try link but if it doesn't work type sonoma mirror into m and s website

Well apart from the mirror cubes, they all look quite swish to me

Perhaps it's not online.

I didn't know M&S sold ugly mirrors. Am going off to look at their website now to see what they have to see if I can find an ugly one...

woopsadaisy · 06/06/2007 14:59

Twiglett · 06/06/2007 14:59

whomovedmychocolate · 06/06/2007 14:58

Missed original post, what sort of mirror is it? Did you buy it on credit card? Why won't they take it back they normally take anything back don't they?
