For not being grateful that my SMP will be for 9 months this time round, after dd2 was sb last year?

Clearly over the moon to be expecting again but if one more person mentions the bonus of having an additional 3 months SMP that I wouldn't have "enjoyed" if dd2 had survived, I think I may get violent. Oh, that's right, thirteen weeks of extra money is really going to make up for losing my dd2 at 34 wks

And people think another child replaces the other but I'm sure it never does.

PinkTulips · 28/05/2007 15:54

jesus christ! who would say something like that?

i'm so sorry you lost your precious daughter before you even got to know her WW, all the money in the world won't make up for that and those people who think a comment like that is acceptable need a swift kick in the head

lulumama · 28/05/2007 15:53

who on earth would be so insensitive and so stupid as to say that ! for you

Judy1234 · 28/05/2007 15:51

How dreadful. How could people say that. The money is nothing. The baby is everything.

Furrymummy · 28/05/2007 15:44

no deffo not being unreasonable. Sorry for your loss. Some people really are the limit.

Amapoleon · 28/05/2007 15:01

So sorry, some people can be so insensitive. My sil's little girl was stillborn a few weeks ago and I am sure you must have had some of the terribley thoughtless comments that she has had.

fireflyfairy2 · 28/05/2007 15:00

Oh sweetheart, what a remark to make

Perhaps if you slap them hard enough, others won't think to comment!
