to be really p****d off at sahm neighbour upstairs who is making me want to clobber her!!

try to brief - i have ds(2) and DD(10) i go to work five days a week out of the flat by 7.45am, drop ds at cm and dd at school, i come home and elephant woman sahm sunbathing all afternoon, her kids coming in my garden, her drinking wine all afternoon, on benefits that i pay for, then i have the stomping about and screaming kids til at least 9pm!!!i no longer talk to her as i complained and she turned quite nasty and wanted to argue the toss about it on the doorstep, i could complain to landlord about it, if it gets much worse over the summer i probably will, ok calm now that i have got that off my chest!!

Maybe the fact that she is a SAHM is relevant because she is more likely to be there in the daytime, and if she's noisy that's adding to the problem as she's there making noise more often....???? Benefit of the doubt to the OP anyone??

oow what are cooking? At this time of night, what about the smell, wont it annoy your neighbours? i'd be straight on the phone to enviro health . Actually dont tell me, am on a bread, cake, choc, dairy free diet in preparation for my hols, there has been this increase of fat on my hips, about an inch either side, always had slim hips, well 34" so have to get rid of it sharpish, tell me anyway

Have to say itbird for some people it is the end of the world. My neighbours temporarily moved into another flat and completely terrorised their neighbour who was beside himself with worry and was about to put in for a transfer as he couldn;t cope (he'd moved here to get away from neighbours from hell)

Nightowl (and you're too early, nocturnal fluffy) , the OP apologized a long way down the thread for some of the wording in the original posting. It was a rant. I've had appalling neighbours myself, in the past.

Please don't get hung up on the benefits thing. I claim some too. I've paid taxes for 23 years, and if I can't get something back for raising yet another tax payer, then there's something woefully wrong with the country.

We've all posted inflammatory OP's. Most of us don't mean to ... shit happens. But itbird has stood by her thread. I would have disappeared long ago.

No I don;t personally know all women on benefit or why they claim and no I don;t personally know itbird or her neighbour - which is why said that I will admit that I may have it all wrong.

I agree that we are all entitled to our own opinions. My original gripe was that I felt that everyone was being too hard on the OP for what I felt was a rant to get something that was bugging her off her chest and to her the fact that this mother doesn;t work and is on benefits was relevant - whether it was to you or not.

I can understand you being sensitive about benefits, I'm not too happy about having to claim myself, but everyone does what they have to do and I''m quite sure that this mother in particular doesn;t need to make as much noise as she does in the evenings or allow her children to walk into other peoples property.

NO not a biatch at all, my empathy to all the people who have nuisance neighbours, but in the scheme of things it is not the end of the world but it sure does drive you crackers x

In the middle of summer, lock my door, no thanks love, i live in a lovely area, have a beautiful garden which i fully enjoy and intend to enjoy in the future, just a shame about the nuisance.

do you know personally, all women on benefit and why they claim them mishw? do you know itbird and her neighbour?

if not, i think we are both equally entitled to our opinion.

and my opinion was that mentioning benefit was irrelevant.

Nightowl get off your high horse. As I've said before, I too have claimed benefits in the past so don't need to walk the mile.

I will admit, I could be totally wrong, but how are you so sure that you are right that is about benefits and not noise. Do you know itbird? Do you know her neighbour?
