Random one. Does Aldi do cashback

Sorry I know Its not aibu but would save me having to stop with baby at a cash point aswell lol

Does anyone know if Aldi still offer cashback at tills or if it’s been stopped now? If so do any other supermarkets offer it? Thanks

Jesus I just got a notification and thought I’d posted on this when tipsy last night - nah it’s just a 6yo zombie, I’ve moved house twice, had two kids and a global pandemic since I posted on this!!

Yes, that's what I've done in the past, get a tenner out, £5 note plus £5 in £1 coins. It was years ago and things change all the time. I don't use cash a lot anyway more, so I wanted to check if it was still the same.

You can get one pound cash back? I never knew that. Always thought it had to be in multiples of £10.

No I had to get a tenner out if I remember rightly and she gave me one £5 note and the other in change so I had some for the trolley

If they don’t have an atm they do cashback, their tills are set up for it.

Ours has an atm so only uses cashback for trolley coins.

Thanks. The one I want to go to doesn't have atm. We have two local but the other is manic and a new layout and get flustered lol.

Yep. Had no £ coin for the trolley and had no cash to get change either! Cashier told me to buy one item by card and can get a £ cash back. Brilliant
