just driven past 2 women power walking and one of them had an IPOD on. How rude would you have to be to invite your mate out power walking and then listen to music all the way round instead of talking to them!! Wierd!!

I once sat in the cinema behind 2 teenage girls who both had walkmans on all the way through the film - now that is just bizarre!!

sorry - just needed to share!

Drivers who pull into the cycle lane at junctions to show they are turning left. Obv using indicators would be too much trouble.

And drivers who ignore the green box at junctions too. Well they'll jsut have been put there to make the road look pretty wont they??

But most of all its vans (Police vans in particular) that overtake cyclists and then turn left straight away!!!! Esp when said cyclists are in a cycle lane. grrrrrr

Yes thanks I had a lovely journey into work this morning

Oh and I want to complain about the rain!!! dont mind it raining but do object to it raining between 7 and 8 am and 5 and 6pm and it always seems to. Why cant it rain earlier or later. but no always seems to come down deliberately to soak me.

bran · 11/05/2007 08:21

RGPargy, I had a Yorkie last week for the first time in about a decade, it was horrible. I threw the last few bits in the bin. Green & Blacks has spoilt me for ordinary chocolate I think.

I get annoyed by cheese slices being stacked on a slant the wrong way in the containers so that it's a struggle to remove a slice.

talcygoneorange · 11/05/2007 08:13

It bugs me that
i continue to believe the beauty bollocks sales blurb spin...

You know.....it will cover your grey!
.....my thighs wiil be svelt like

I really should know better

I blame nadinebaggot

FeelingOldnGrey · 11/05/2007 07:49

oh can I continue it this morning?

People complaining about the rain -

It's May.
It's England.
And we have had weeks of glorious sunshine.
If it did not rain, the trees and plants would not look as wonderfully green and colourful as they do now.
We would not appreciate the sun when it comes out again (this morning, its gorgeous and shiney when I opened the curtains).

RGPargy · 10/05/2007 17:17

Things that are bugging me this week:

The lack of Cheese & Onion crisps in the vending machine.

The lack of Mini Cheddars in the vending machine.

The same old boring chocolate bars in the vending machine (who eats Yorkies these days anyway?!!).

That is all.

Hi Mrs F. . Hope all housing issues are resolved very soon. I am moody because of my PMT . All will feel better for me by tomorrow I hope.

CaptainUnderpants · 10/05/2007 16:36

£75 !!! The surprise wasn't for the birthday person but for the guests - bloody cheek .

mrsflowerpot · 10/05/2007 11:27

everything is bugging me this week so I won't go into details.

but the number one is 'houses that take so long to exchange contracts on'. I suspect that once that one is sorted other things will stop being so irritating.

Disgruntled · 10/05/2007 11:24

Only £25, Captain? DH and I were asked for £75 each for a 'surprise' birthday party meal for someone. And it was about 40 miles away at a 'special' hotel so we'd have to make an 80 mile round trip to attend. We said no, too.

CaptainUnderpants · 09/05/2007 17:41

When you get invited to a ' surprise' birthday party and are asked to fork out £25 a head !!!

( Sorry but this really bugged me the other day , that would mean £50 for me & Dh , plus babysitter £25 , and present !! We said No )
Different if you all go out for an arranged meal between friends but when invited to a party I dont expect to pay for the pleasure

scatterbrain · 09/05/2007 17:40

Oh cereal packets - has reminded me !

Dh's inability to throw away an empty packet of anything - he just puts it back int he cupboard so I don't know we've run out !! How hard is that ??

MrsWho · 09/05/2007 17:21

yeah all those too

(Shall I just say everything )

IcingOnTheCake · 09/05/2007 17:20

i think i am just nosy! i will try and control myself in future!

Tutter · 09/05/2007 17:09

haven't read thread but..

dh's inability to open a cereal packet without ripping it to shreds - i mean how blardy difficult can it be?

sunnysideup · 09/05/2007 17:08

oooohhh, please just don't do it. I was bloody half an hour late for work this morning for NO reason. It creates traffic jams and it causes secondary accidents!

Resist the temptation to look - What ARE you thinking you might see?

sorry Icing, not aimed at you solely....loads do it

IcingOnTheCake · 09/05/2007 16:59

sunnysideup that would be me then

sunnysideup · 09/05/2007 16:53

People who slow down to stare at accidents when driving. Or 99% of the time, to stare at the one or two emergency vehicles that are still at the scene as there's nothing else to look at.

WTF are they hoping to see FGS?

FeelingOldnGrey · 09/05/2007 16:52

Ripeberry - I think your DH is my DP .

Oh, and another thing that bugs me. When Dp comes to bed at 12:30am and says to the sleeping me. 'babe? 'babe?' 'darliiiin? you awake?' and get upset when I mumble some foul language at him

Ripeberry · 09/05/2007 16:50

Love this thread, my DH seems to love bugging me at the moment.
He leaves his dirty clothes ON the laundry basket not in it.
Leaves empty drink cans near the recycling bin, can't be bothered to open it
Leaves cardboard next to the recycling bag and the one thing that really annoys me is that he insists on cleaning the dishes from the dishwasher JUST when i had enough to start a washing cycle and he washes them badly so they have to go back it anyway.
I go the dishwasher years ago because he is so bad at cleaning dishes.

Wilkie · 09/05/2007 16:49

The holier-than-thou people that seem to loister on the sleep and weaning threads, purely to provoke argument

FeelingOldnGrey · 09/05/2007 16:48

My DP putting dirty washing next to washing basket, not in it.

Friends who dont help clean up after dinner. Or at least offer (I usually say Ooooo nooooo nooooonoooo you are guests! But they should offer at least)

Running out of coffee

It starting to rain while I am out and my washing is on the line - I can never forcast the weather properly.

People who say 'innit'.

Drivers who dont say thanks when you let them out.

BettySpaghetti · 09/05/2007 16:48

People who park across the track that leads to our house and 3 neighbours houses(or even park halfway across, because that makes it fine doesn't it? NO!).

Its bloody obvious that there are cars down there so access is needed but people still insist on parking there when theres loads of open space along the road

MrsWho · 09/05/2007 16:45

Yes at all of these

rabbleraiser · 09/05/2007 16:44

I'm on my way!
