madamez, no not at all - she knows she has a vagina and boys have a penis (she is 5) I just associate fanjo as a slang term (has it originated on these threads somewhere along the line? can't remember) and I don't like using words like that (slang words for body parts I mean) I see it as a grown up word as well. Maybe it's just me then.

Yes he would, but if he thought he could get away with just laying around and not doing it he would do that too.

DD goes to the toilet fairly independently but still asks for her bottom wiping and DH does that.

My dh would. I would be a bit surprised if he wouldn't tbh!

On the mooncup issue, I haven't had a chance to try mine out yet, got pregnant immediately after buying it so it is untested in my bathroom cabinet! A bit disappointing really as I was absurdly excited about the whole idea!

Well as we only have a ds, dh hasnt yet had to face that one...but put it this way, if he left a blade of grass or any other foreign object in the vicinity of any theoretical daughters fanjo or ds's whatsit i'd throttle him!!!

Saying that, in all honesty, I doubt he'd notice!

so he would change her nappy and put cream on but wouldn't pull a blade of grass away. don't really see the logic in that.

I was strong stuff though .. I was from a family of lilet users and that was my first experience .. hated Tampax always seemed too long and skinny (you know like the worst kind of penis lol)

I worked with a bloke once who told me all about the psychological profiles behind the women who use different sanitary protection .. and the ones who used tampax (eg applicator) were more uptight than those who used lilets .. according to this bloke .. funny though all the marketing teams of sanitary protection were male

No I misled you. Neither of them wanted help in actually pushing it in and they both used sanitary towels for the first year or so too.

Daughter 1 just got on with tampax herself. Her sister was on holiday when she decided to have a go. I wasn't in the room but she was wanting advice etc. My father's a doctor and delivered my sister at home so I suppose I'm just from a family where men are fairly into stuff ilke that without some hangups other families might have.
