HEELIES.............annoying children

Using them in the shops today,, i was trying to buy a swimming costume, left kids with dh for the pleasure of looking at myself in a full length mirror in a swimming costume, much tears, and then being confronted families of children using heelies in the shops. grrrrrrrrr., and SOMebody run over my toe with her pram

I'm sure that there'll be some muscular-related problem associated with the ridiculous stance children have to maintain to wheel these things along.

I can understand being annoyed with her parent for not keeping an eye on her, but .............

They're sh!te aren't they? And the children can't walk in them properly which is my big bugbear with them (and the reason none of the Small Dragons will be getting any)

I find pushchairs in shops more annoying than children wearing heelies, tbh. I've been run over, bumped into and rammed out the way by people who use their pushchairs as a weapon on several occasions. Have yet to be attacked by a heely wearing child, though.
The shops insist on cramming everything in to maximise profit, but this means there isn't room for everyone to move about comfortably.
Just one of life's little annoyances I suppose.

Bandstand you are not alone, they are a stupid craze brought by stupid parents for stupid children, who then skate up and down the shopping centers and in shops.
Alittle girl ran in to me in a pair a few weeks ago then the same child knocked over an old lady, this was INSIDE WOOLWORTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say i was not in the least bit sorry when the child tripped over someones foot and hit her face on some shelves, at this point her mother took notice of what was going on but seemed to miss her hellhound creating bedlem before hand.
I did read somewhere that they are a good source of exercise for todays chubby children, but i cant see how, as im sure walking takes more effort the skidding along

However i think the parents who were letting their child scoot around the shop on a bloody scooter win t*wt of the day.

No but, y'know, they're kids..... Think if you'd have found the swimming cossy of your dreams you'd have been so estatic that they could have done doughnuts on your head in their heelies and you wouldn't have cared (I understand the power of a positive life-affirming swimming costume moment!! And the affects of one that makes you look like a tapeworm!!)

oh so i can't be the only grumpy one about t, they wouldnt use scooters or ride their bikes in the shops, would tye?

Move to Yeovil -on the news earlier it said that children have been banned from wearing them in the town centre!
