self pity thread, Its been a long 23 months without having had one and got to be honest its driving me up the wall. missing the closeness of another body to hold, hug, have a laugh and then to bed...

Oh yeah, online dating, like I never thought of that. The only response I got last time I tried was one guy who wasn't impressing me with his initiative. "How far is your home town from my home town?" he asked. I restrained myself from sending him a "let me google that for you" link, as he might just have been making conversation, give him a chance. Then, before we'd talked about anything like jobs, families, hobbies, or anything much at all, he said, "Allah tells me you're the one for me." I decided to take the gamble that he might be wrong on that.
