It really is.

Dear Facebook and Gumtree users

Stop it.

Come and Cum. Two different things. AIBU? Am I?

Cum look at my puppies is not going to encourage naice people to COME round.

Cum is not an abbreviation. It really isn't.

If you insist on persisting I will find you and vomit in your hair rather than over my pc.

Ah yes, Compo

In honour of dear Roger, I would like to offer hemulsion, erectoplasm and baby formula.

ComposHat · 28/03/2013 00:02

I saw somebody had placed a video of Dexy's Midninght Runners biggest hit on the internet with the title: 'Cum on Eileen.' Now I know the verses are largely indecipherable especially when heard at a Wedding Disco, but I am pretty sure that Kevin Rowlands didn't write it as an ode to the joys of Bukkake.

I would recommend those who cannot distinguish between the words 'Cum and Come' should consult Roger's Profanesaurus- lovingly produced by the helpful people at Viz to come up with more imaginative names for a gentleman's love gift.

Pendeen · 27/03/2013 23:59

Tell me, is it really good for the skin? Or am I wrong?

Seemed to me that it does make my skin - tumy and boobs - softer and more supple.

TalcAndTurnips · 27/03/2013 23:50

Weasley-poohs - I had no idea that anyone even did this Shock

You have opened my eyes to a whole new world of dreadfulness, of which I was in blissful ignorance.

Damn you. Now I will have to sally forth and kill these people. But where do they reside?

In the Book of Face; down by the old crooked Gumtree you say? I shall fetch my blunderbuss and the hounds - and dispatch them without delay.

ilovecolinfirth · 27/03/2013 23:37

I wanted to call my puppy Felatio... But it was a bit of a mouthful...

OxfordBags · 27/03/2013 21:40

The use of cum makes me clutch my pearl necklace in disgust.

EggyFucker · 27/03/2013 20:39

oops, that's what you said

sorry

hang on a mo

EggyFucker · 27/03/2013 20:39

Akiss, we have said it would be a bit mean to link, because it's a genuine poster

will pm you

AKissIsNotAContract · 27/03/2013 20:30

Can someone please PM me a link to the other cum thread? I can't see it.

SayCoolNowSayWhip · 27/03/2013 20:30

These threads have made me ponder the true meaning of 'Come on Eileen'.

'Cum' should never ever be used in any cumtext.

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 27/03/2013 20:21

Cum should make any reasonable person shudder

GinGuzzler · 27/03/2013 19:56

Man fat

StairsInTheNight · 27/03/2013 18:22

I hate the 'cum' spelling. It makes me shudder.

BlueSkySunnyDay · 27/03/2013 18:03

I noticed the other thread because of the spelling then I realised it was being used in the right (sexual climax) context. That reminded me of how many times I have seen it used in the wrong (appear/arrive) context by my friend on facebook.

Made me snigger, then I saw this thread!

BadgersRetreat · 27/03/2013 17:57

i couldn't read the other 'cum' op..it was revolting....i was in the middle of my breakfast for fuck's sake.

BlueSkySunnyDay · 27/03/2013 17:52

My nephews use of "K" instead of OK always seems a bit futile. Although I do have it put to one side to use in a text to my equally language militant friend...we do it every so often to prove we are "down with the kids" (snort)

BlueSkySunnyDay · 27/03/2013 17:50

I dont think I am totally against language developing

I like cocklodger - tees wankbadger made me laugh as too today has cunt bunting.

Its just some things really rankle.

Jengnr · 27/03/2013 17:48

Anyone who spells it cum is a wrong 'un.

I don't care if they are talking about manfat or not. It's still come.

CheerfulYank · 27/03/2013 17:44

I refuse to use cum for anything when typing. It's a gross word. It's come. Jizz occasionally.

EggyFucker · 27/03/2013 17:41

I posted on the other cum thread, and predictably, the backlash has started.

Thumbtack · 27/03/2013 17:19

Magi - I'm a twitcher (of sorts) and I didn't know that! Love this thread rofl

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 27/03/2013 17:02

Dear literal Brigade

I on the other hand have killed over this, and will continue to do so. It's the only way to stop this nonsense.

As you were.

OP posts:
BlueSkySunnyDay · 27/03/2013 17:00

One of my (younger) facebook friends always uses this spelling in innocuous status updates. I have so far resisted the urge to tell her that come and cum have different meanings - glad to know its not just me Grin

Anyone who uses the word "chillax" deserves to die slowly and painfully (joke......before I get hauled over the coals by the literal brigade!)

Amazeballs also makes me want to scream

I suspect I am just getting old.

Tee2072 · 27/03/2013 16:48

I just think it's a lovely turn of phrase!

Grin
HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 27/03/2013 16:08

Tee

Why do I get the feeling you are finding hard to let go of "chillax cummer"?
