It really is.

Dear Facebook and Gumtree users

Stop it.

Come and Cum. Two different things. AIBU? Am I?

Cum look at my puppies is not going to encourage naice people to COME round.

Cum is not an abbreviation. It really isn't.

If you insist on persisting I will find you and vomit in your hair rather than over my pc.

You're right, FENTON. Zombie is indeed sorry.

OhChristHasRisenFENTON · 28/03/2013 10:56

You'll be sorry Zombie.

IamtheZombie · 28/03/2013 10:49

Four letter words do not need abbreviating.

Especially when the new word means something very, very different.

Tee2072 · 28/03/2013 10:18

Snerk at Oil of ManLay.

And...Chillax...

::flees::

IamtheZombie · 28/03/2013 09:56

Would someone please PM Zombie with a link? Ta muchly.

ApocalypseCheeseToastie · 28/03/2013 09:44

Just signing in to at the title.

sanityawol · 28/03/2013 09:38

If you could, that would be great... I usually struggle to come up with MIL issues as on the whole she's ok.

If you needed another reason, she also signs off with lol, I've always assumed she means 'lots of love' rather than the more accepted usage.

It would probably be quite an easy hit for you - you'd just have to tell her and she would die of shame. I can't quite bring myself to tell her what her spelling of 'come' means. Grin

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 28/03/2013 09:11

Sanity

Does she have life insurance? If so would you like me to take care of it?

AKissIsNotAContract · 28/03/2013 08:44

I've PMd you both

sanityawol · 28/03/2013 08:37

My MIL uses this abbreviation in her almost indecipherable text messages. Makes me shudder everytime I read that she and her H are going to cum and see us.

MrsHelsBels74 · 28/03/2013 07:41

I need a link to the other thread too, I can't find it.

MimsyBorogroves · 28/03/2013 07:39

And I can't see the other thread.

Anyone care to PM me a link?

(Spluff!)

MimsyBorogroves · 28/03/2013 07:36

Eew, cum.

That is all.

AKissIsNotAContract · 28/03/2013 07:25

Baby batter is pretty wrong too.

HotCrossWeaselInSinisterBonnet · 28/03/2013 07:17

I don't care whether it is good for the skin, it is not good for literacy.

And for the sake of £1.99 I'll stick to Aldi face cream rather than Oil of ManLay.

I love MN.

The only place where you can wake up to a face full of man milk and be thoroughly amused.

ComposHat · 28/03/2013 02:35

Man Fat is horrid, my favourite euphemism is 'Thelonious ' in Cockney rhyming slang (Thelonious Monk - spunk)

I always used to piss myself laughing when on Aussie soaps, someone would be described as a 'spunk'

Sunnywithshowers · 28/03/2013 01:23

at 'man fat'

Spooge, splurge, goblove...

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 28/03/2013 00:43

Love "Sadly, I had to kill her for her own good."

ComposHat · 28/03/2013 00:26

'Errectoplasm' - brilliant!
