It's almost as if importing huge numbers of people without consent is a bad idea.

The algorithm to push right wing has been admitted by twitter.
And they also stopped fact checking, people who used to fight misinformation were sacked. It allows lies to spread and lies spread fast. Hate speech and lies since Elon have increased massively and this has create real harm.

Of course you can follow whoever you want but it doesn't stop the fact that it's a right wing echo chamber. It hasn't been neutral since Elon.

Well, for example the people posting information about Portsmouth are at Portsmouth, filming and reporting what they see. So no, not out of their arses. Obviously there is some nonsense as everywhere, even on MN.

Not to mention the millions who are already here. Every last illegal - and there really are millions - must be deported. And it's wonderful these brave boys are trying to prevent more illegals from entering. I am so worried for their safety, the police are known very well for two tier policing against the native population of Britain.

Actually this is a really strange comment. You do know there are loads of left wing people on Twitter? And centre, and right. And they often argue with each other. It is the opposite of an echo chamber. When I joined I followed a load of accounts across the political spectrum and went from there. I even followed Owen Jones for a while!

I wouldn’t call an Elon Musk owned platform heaving with Russian bots the best way to get actual information about what’s going on in the world.

The feed relies heavily on algorithms that boost content driving outrage, controversy and high engagement. Sensationalised claims and out of context clips spread extremely faster than nuanced and fact checked reporting.
