Yes there is of course much more to do. And the overturning of Roe v Wade is a travesty. Glad we don't have that issue here. Agreed re rape conviction stats in the UK.

But in the round, the West is significantly more superior when it comes to women's rights. We are equal before the law for a start. And we aren't the property of our husband.

Sorry I just don’t like the word ‘superior’. Of course the taliban are atrocious. But they have been enabled.

1 in 4 women will be abused in this country. And a woman is murdered once every 3 days. Sure, we’d all prefer to live here obviously but let’s not pretend there aren’t huge problems here. The most dangerous place for a woman is still her home here in England.

Nothing shows the narcisstic, self focusded, west focused , ego centric, utterly privileged ignorant twattery of the modern British left, like this thread does. How can you be so self obsessed with your own personal political hobby horses that you actually think Farage is the most evil person in the world?

Go and read more widely. Find out more about the world.

Jesus.

In your previous post you have stated that there's no genocide in Gaza so I wouldn't trust your opinion on anything, certainly not the British left.

However, I probably agree that Farage isn't the most evil person in the world. I believe that accolade goes to Ben Gvir and Smotrich. Their sheer depravity and blood lust knows no bounds. They pinned little brooches in the shape of nooses to their lapels when voting for a new law to bring back hanging but only for Palestinians. They are monsters.

Trump’s Supreme Court appointments helped overturn Roe v. Wade, enabling state abortion bans that have forced pregnant rape victims—including children—to travel out of state for legal abortions.

In England, rapes recorded by police in the year ending March 2026, 3.4% had resulted in a charge or summons by year-end; convictions would be a smaller percentage.

These are two examples from the western world. I could go on…there are plenty more depressing statistics.

Yes I’d rather live in the UK. But while we have made progress in some areas of women’s rights and children’s safety, I cannot celebrate superiority with examples like the above. We are living in truly chilling times.

Which country would you prefer to be a woman in? Afghanistan or the UK?

The West can claim superiority in spades when it comes to women's rights.

Misogyny and violence and abuse of women and girls takes place in every country. Sure it can be more sadistic in some countries, but it manifests in different ways in different regions. It’s not like ‘Western’ countries weren’t this barbaric - just go back in time. I wouldn’t claim superiority in the west when we have Western ‘leaders’ like Trump and Netanyahu killing millions of people including women. Most people harmed by wars and attacks are women and children - same is happening right now in Gaza which western countries have enabled

This is such minimising crap. Just because in the Middle ages women were burned at the stake these people aren't evil? Western countries now can actually claim ' superiority' because it's not the 1300's.

Correction: the OP asked who is the most evil person in the world right now

It’s a general question, which will differ where you are based and live, and your metric of what counts as evil, and obviously what your exposure to world events

Trump leads arguably the most powerful country in the world and has much control over what happens in the world - his decision impact millions globally in a way that other world leaders’ decisions won’t

Remember the US left 🇦🇫 in the state that’s in becoming now

And it’s enabled a horrific genocide in Gaza

So he’s not squeaky clean

He may not be killing or raping people on the ground but his decisions have led to this happening on a huge scale

There is no genocide in Gaza.

Some of the worst people in the world are those promoting the absolute lie that there is a genocide in Gaza as they are the proponents of the latest version of anti-Semitism which is again leading to the murders, harassment and ostracisation of Jewish people across the world through this modern day demonization. The modern blood libel against Jews.

When religion dominated society, Jews were hated for their religion. When race dominated society they were hated for their race. Now politics dominates, they are hated by the modern day political hate movement of ‘antiZionism’ .

Israeli citizens were subject to a terrorist attack of deliberate sadism on Oct 7th. Their defensive war in response has been the urban war with the lowest civilian to combatant ratio ever in history. They have taken great efforts, at risk to their own soldiers, to reduce Gazan civilian deaths. Hamas on the other hand, have taken no actions to protect civilians, in fact they have made statements - and taken actions - showing that they have the opposite aim. They refused to shelter civilians in the hundreds of miles of underground tunnels they built in preparation for the war with Israel they were planning to bring bring on the civilians of Gaza.

If you haven’t bothered to look into any of this, to put this war in the context of other urban wars, or in any context at all, that is because you have allowed yourself to buy into the antisemitic, demonizing blood libels against Israel. That puts you in the same camp as every other follower of previous attacks on Jews through history.

I am not saying this to attack you, but to make you aware of how hate campaigns against Jews have always worked. All the citizens who bought into them were ordinary citizens who believed the popular narrative they were sold, all thought it was true and all thought their views put them on the right side of history.

But failing to be curious rarely puts you on the right side.

I always think the Afghan regime is particularly terrible as women aren't allowed to see male doctors. But women aren't allowed to become doctors. Which means women aren't able to have proper medical care. This is half the population of a country in a world where modern medicine exists. Presumably the Taliban aren't husbands, fathers or brothers and none of them had a mother...

The Taliban of old sent their daughters to British boarding schools while preaching how ' unislamic' it was to educate girls. Demonstrating what bull shit the whole thing is. The Iranian regime send their daughters to the West to he educated. They don't wear Hijabs when they are on their Instagram accounts in their bikinis.

Leader of Afghanistan. Women can't work, go to school, see the doctor or dentist (because only men can be those things), fully covered, no rights whatsoever, can't even SPEAK or sing. For some reason women the west think our leaders are worse than this.

It’s a tie between the IRGC leadership and the Taliban leadership. Nobody in the west comes close

OP asked who was the most evil person.

It"s a daft question.

moonshinemadness · Yesterday 14:36

Squidgoals · Yesterday 14:26

Omfg, these comments. The IRGC murdered 40,000 of its own people in a fortnight. As a matter of policy they rape disobedient women and girls before killing them ‘so they can’t get into heaven’. During the slaughter in January they entered hospitals to carry on killing their own citizens, and threatened the doctors and nurses who were treating them. A gang of them raped two nurses with such violence that the women had to have their uteruses and parts of their intestines removed. The Ayatollahs have vowed to destroy the west and are working on it via their extremely busy proxies Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis. (By the way, the Houthis put women in cages and set fire to them.)

Meanwhile the Taliban has banned females from attending school, being seen through a window or being heard speaking in public. They cannot be treated by a male doctor, but there are no women in education anymore, so it’s not hard to work out what will happen in a few years. Suicide rates among Afghan women have risen sharply since 2022.

But no, Trump is the worst. Farage is also the worst. Elon Musk, for some bloody reason, is the worst

Well said.

But then it's easy to say that when you havent experienced actually living in a regime like Iran's.

They are pure evil

Yes them too! What do they think they used to be?!

It’s ok to not want children or have the burden. But no need to grimace.

I also dislike it when people say they prefer animals to people. Ick.

It’s something I experience regularly in the U.K. but southern European countries love children generally.

Perhaps speaks to the breakdown of family unit in Uk and other Western European countries
