I am blonde and pale skinned but the women I find the most beautiful tend be to dark haired /brunettes / women with a deeper hue

Antonia Fraser. I've read that her father , Lord Longford , was a very beautiful young man. But I only remember him as an elderly bald man. I'd imagine Antonia is still lovely. Those bones don't age much....

Maybe this could be to do with posters predominantly being from the UK so it might seem most striking to us a look which isn't so common in ourselves and people around us. I always wished I had dark hair and eyes and large features instead of looking like an Anglo-Saxon peasant, as I do.
Also, so many naturally blonde haired people, including celebs have had their hair and overall look ruined by overzealous bleaching etc.
Another thought to do with finding pics that represent somebody's beauty, Cheryl Tweedy etc. I think that we have seen most of these women in motion, speaking, acting, performing etc and so a still often just can't do them justice.

Of all the photos on this thread, Hedy Lamarr stands out as the most beautiful to me.
I never understand why Jennifer Aniston is described as beautiful. Very pretty, extremely attractive, but not beautiful.

See I think Hedy Lamarr is another one where the makeup ruins her look. No doubt she’s a beautiful woman underneath, but it’s hard to find a picture of her looking natural. The porcelain doll makeup and drawn on eyebrows give her a bit of a pinched Micheal Jackson look in a lot of photos imo.

Yeah, I think it’s all the makeup and over the top glamour which makes her look a bit tacky unfortunately. It’s a shame because it masks her natural beauty.

Not many celebrities are as pretty as she was before they were famous and had money and stylists etc.
