Those tasks do cause such procrastination don't they @BerfyTigot? Hope you're getting along ok. I have a small mountain of old shed stuff and bits of metal, all tied together with weeds, that need to go to the tip. It feels like an enormous task but I think I simply need to start by teasing it all apart.
Cycling day today, bright and early. Since then it's been fielding emails and the odd panicky phone call, mainly work related but not all. Two full days off now and intent ton re-routing any nonsense to Someone Else. One small thing was getting meds and toiletries for mother. I don't mind at all but I do wonder what happens to those with no families. My bet is on the carers pulling more than their weight, as usual. Like teachers who provide stationery and snacks for their charges.
Hopefully @Peridot1 has arrived safe and sound. I'm drowning out the sound of my small noisy neighbours with beach/wave/ seagull sounds in my headphones instead of my usual rain sounds and pretending I'm also on holiday.
Hope DD is doing well @mumofoneisonozempic and that you have had some rest.
