My sisters birthday is next week and she has said she would love a nice perfume but doesn't know which one. I am needing to order online as I won't be able to get to the shops in time. Can anybody recomemnd one for me? I am a bit clueless when it comes to stuff like this so would be really grateful of the help!

I really like Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, it's quite light and smells really nice imo. It also comes in a pretty pink package and bottle- not too pink, just enough. Mind you I am big SATC fan so that maybe has influenced me

My other fav is Clinique Happy but that's a bit more expensive, around £40. Lovely is around £20-25.

Kenzo Flower - parma violety and lovely but probably too sweet for some tastes

Philosophy Pure Grace - new born babies and clean sheets!

Clinique Happy is nice, as Rachie says, but I'm struggling to remember quite what it smells like.

Daisy is nice too - forget who it's by.

D&G Light Blue is a very good one, citrusy but light and my favourite evening perfume is givenchy Ange ou Demon. Very sultry and sex.

I love this and thank you for asking this question as I've just realised its been discontinued. Have bought a few!

We must have good taste Pesto .

Buying perfume for another person is really hard! Can you not get her to give you a few hints, they tend to smell differently on different people. For example I think SJP lovely smells like wee, but RachieW loves it.

Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin is a lovely summery scent.
I also love the Jo Malone Lavendar and Amber

Another vote for Daisy here.

Jo Malone do samples if you ring them up - Lime Basil and Mandarin is gorgeous - maybe get her some samples and gift vouchers?
