Weirdly attracted to this as loungewear ..

Would make a change from oversized pj bottoms that sag on my arse and jersey mens long-sleeved tees.

I would pass on the socks as don't like stripes much but the soft flow of this delights me.

It is Gudrun Sjoden, and im not much of a fan of their look in general, but this really caught my eye. It's a bit house on the prairie thanks to the petticoat layer but could swap that for something else...

So, anyone think this might make a nice variation on regular night/loungewear, or am I just really, really sick of trouser-y things?

Um, interesting, not sure! Helpful I know.

Pheasantlysurprised Thu 14-Oct-21 15:17:15

Im conflicted, but curiously drawn to it.

I think I am really fed up with PJ's and being an artist who wfh I practically live in oversized pj's. I have with got to struggle getting the right waist and rise and then also worry about leg length, and the quality of pj's is going way downhill, recently.

A long sleeved jersey gown or frock seems like an interesting variation, with maybe leggings or soft tights for indoors. I would also like a huge floppy but chic kimono gown too.

Reminds me of something Frankie would wear on Grace and Frankie

Pheasantlysurprised Thu 14-Oct-21 15:26:42

not heard of bev keen?

I thought it would produce mixed responses, but surely someone else must be tired of bloody PJ bottoms and a tee? I ought to experiment a bit but not sure I can get with Gudrun!

It looks like a rag :-/

Coniferhedge Thu 14-Oct-21 15:50:53

I think itโ€™s nice - even the socks. Has a real cosy, hygge feel to it.

Snoken Thu 14-Oct-21 15:51:39

Gudrun is not my style at all normally as her clothes are usually too colourful for my bland taste, but this I love! It would look good with just the top layer and the tights and socks too.

All together now....
"The sun'll come your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun"
or maybe
"It's the hard knock life for us,
It's the hard knock life for us,
'Stead of treated
we get tricked....."

You can guess where I think that outfit belongs....on the stage....

If no one's ever going to see you in it, I think its fine. However if people will see you in it, you've more to worry about than those striped socks!

ToastandJamandTea Thu 14-Oct-21 16:01:34

It reminds me of the kind of thing Mary from Gogglebox wears. Looks super comfy though!

Purplecatshopaholic Thu 14-Oct-21 16:03:46

Love this - would totally wear it
