What to wear with these sandals? Pic included

Hi ladies can anyone help me what to wear with these sandals please? I've already bought them and I was thinking a frilly top and blue or black jeans but any dress ideas or particular jeans or tops welcome...
I'm 25 waist and 28 leg maybe even smaller so Topshop short jeans go down a treat for me. I'm a bit old fashioned and wear the Leigh Jeans most but recently got some Jamie embroidered ones although I reckon embroidered on embroidered is probably OTT so yea throw your throughts at me please and thank you

Crikey
I wouldn't wear them at all - sorry!

I'd wear with black or blue ankle or cropped jeans with a white shirt or pheasant top or black lace top. They'd go with black or white v neck linen t-shirt.

Swop jeans for black cigarette trousers if you want to wear to work.

They'd look good with jeans like this

I love embroidered things but I couldn't walk in those! In fact I bought a burgundy silk pair a little like that - with toes and narrower heel - about 13 years ago and they are still in the box

If I had to though it would be with something very plain - jeans and black shirt - to accentuate them.

Thanks for everyone letting me know they wouldn't wear them 👍 I didn't ask if people would wear them I asked what to wear them with.
I'm having a really hard time at the moment with my health and I'm feeling really low and this has made me feel worse.

It's my taste not yours but I feel so insecure at the minute. Why can't we all take a minute to think about what people actually ask for help with and then offer help if we can and if we can't then we leave?

Major let down.

They're supposed to be cheesy and fun I'm young and tiny and wanted to wear them with maybe a pale blue puffy shirt with a knot on and tight little jeans or maybe a plain black skirt.
Thanks for the play suit idea except I am pear shaped and so my legs don't look so good when they are chopped off half way with shorts. Maybe a full length black one with slim cut legs? Has anyone seen one of those lately?
Thank you

Hey Op, don't worry about people saying they wouldn't wear them, it's your feet, do they make you happy? If yes then wear them with pride! Many things I buy get a mixed response, I don't care, my clothes and choices make me happy so wear them with a smile on your face! Sorry to hear you've been poorly!

Thank you buster I'm just clearly feeling very sensitive I've got very fruity taste in shoes and clothes and I used to wear so much black just trying to brighten up my wardrobe a little since I'm not working in an office anymore.
This has just really upset me I've been in bed mostly for weeks on end now with bad kidneys and I was looking forward to taking them on a small outing. I don't know why I rely so much on this forum for support when a lot of women get so much out of being unkind or not encouraging each other at all. I suppose it keeps me entertained when I'm all alone.

Some cropped black trousers and a blue shirt ( tie waist if you're confident enough, slightly boxy and oversized or just nicely slim fitting) or straight fit 5/7 jeans and a Tshirt - would avoid red or green as overkill or Christmas . I love them but can't keep backless shoes on my feet 😞

Or a blue or brown shirt dress or play suit ( or a cheeky LBD 😉) so many outfits

I love them - would wear with jeans and a peasant or Bardot top, maybe a floaty dress? Zara have loads of nice ones in ATM x

blue yes I think so I've got a flat tummy it's much better then my bum and thighs bare I was thinking like this but then maybe the pearls would be ott.
Agreed about the Christmas tree comments! It's a fine line isn't it. I thought they were so bad they were good in a nice way for summer.
They're very comfortable and soft on the inside. As I'm 5ft 1 it would be nice to add a heel to a casual outfit for lunch or say dinner on the weekend with my husband and son.
Thank you for your in put.
Some women here have suggested great shoes. I'm a bit of a shoe feind and someone suggested rose gold supergas a few weeks ago so I snuck a pair he he then a pair of the leopard menorcan sandals and also the red sandals I chose myself. Small treats keep me going in these shitty days.
Oh and someone also suggested a lovely green jacket from River Island which I would never usually have shopped at and it's lovely and goes with lots of outfits so to their credit a lot of women can be helpful I'm just a sensitive soul.

Where's that black jumpsuit from? Quite like that

I bought the m&s gold ones the other day- I love them. Don't worry OP, there's a wide spectrum of taste on here. My choices have been shot down in flames many a time Grin but stick to your guns- you know what you like.

Some people may not like them. Some people like irregular choice shoes (my own personal idea of hell). Some like fitflops

FWIW, I think they're great and would wear them with other bold colours. Or cropped flares.

buster I have no boobs sadly and feel weird with low cut but if it was a square high kneck I would love that!
My husband said we could think about a boob job when my health is good (I'm smaller then an AA) and it didn't help when I had my son. Just not sure about the chemicals in my body.

Thank you girls for your help it's made me feel better already

Tether I saw the goldy ones too and the pink high heel ones with embroidery on the back which I thought would look great with my crushed velvet black 80s style mini dress.
Yea fit flops aren't my bag either but I wouldn't post on a thread (admittedly not this thread) and say I wouldn't wear something if someone had asked what to wear them with.
We are all different and that's what makes the world go round. They must be popular style if marks and spencer decided to sell them by the thousand in their shops it's just quite cutting to hear comments from people about something you like isn't it?
Enjoy the gold shoes xx

I think they'll look gorgeous on someone young and slim. Maybe with dark indigo jeans and a white or light blue chambray peasant-type blouse.

Enjoy them, I'd love to be able to pull them off! Smile

All the playsuits are from Oasis. Grin They do have a high neck one op but I've posted too many images today!

When I first joined I posted what I was wearing on a 'what are you wearing today?' thread (vintage Welsh wool cape IIRC) and got called Clint Eastwood Grin

A year later, there were hundreds of threads asking where to buy nice capes.

You're just ahead of the curve Wink

I love that fluted sleeve shirt op. For some reason I can see those shoes with pale blue and white stripes. Not Brenton more peasant.

mowgeli · 13/04/2017 15:32

buster I love peasant style like red Indian sort of thing.
I live in Margate and anything goes here. Zara has loads of peasant stuff but I don't want to over do it and come out looking like pochahontis
