Can you help me choose a wedding dress? (pictures)

I'm not a big white dress kind of person but if you hate them both feel free to say!

Both exactly the same shape, just different colours and design at the top. I cannot for the life of me choose. Number one is pale pink. Number two is off white.

Number two, definitely.

I prefer the white but I don't like the cardigan.

White.
What shoes will you be wearing.

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 11:59

Flat pumps probably. I never wear heels.

They are both ok but I don't think either are really special - sorry! I think your guests might outdress you.

I prefer the pink one. Grin We are not much help, are we?

Definitely the white one and I love the cardigan! When are you getting married?

Report
AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 12:01

No chance of that allegretto. We're a very casual bunch. It's going to be a super small wedding. We already have 2 dc and I'm pregnant with number 3 so it's not a traditional wedding really Grin

Not till after this baby comes pinkpizza. But I want the dress sorted before I can't fit it.

Love the pink and I like your cardie, with a hand tied little bouquet of pale pink and cream roses.
Congrats! X

I like the white one best, very pretty.
Are you having flowers or a veil or hat at all?

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 12:05

My frugal head is saying I would wear the pink again. The white would just sit in my wardrobe never to see the light of day again.

I love the pink op, and Kimmy's flower suggestion would be lovely, or a hand-tied bouquet of dark and pale pink with cream could look good.

Flowers will be daffodils (but not the bright yellow ones) if we can get hold of them at the right time. We should be able to. If not it'll be some kind of wildflowers probably. No veil or hat.

I think I prefer the pink but the white feels more weddingy. Also it might be harder to match dp's kilt to pink.

The white looks much more special.

CrimsonKing · 18/10/2016 12:12

I'm sorry but I don't like either. The tops don't sit well around your bust area and the fabric of the cardigan clashes with the pink one especially.

Of the two the white one looks better but I the white of the skirt and the white of the cardigan clash/jar.

Sorry I'm just being honest and you did ask.

AllTheBabies · 18/10/2016 12:15

No that's okay crimson!

The Cardigan actually looks fine which the pink in real life. The flowers on the dress are white so it matches up with them. I agree that it doesn't quite go with the white one but I think I can live with it.

Oh also, they weren't done up at the back because the zip requires two people Grin hence the slightly funny look at the front.

White - is more elegant! The pink is too fussy for me

Report
BaconPancake · 18/10/2016 12:17

I prefer the design at the top of the white one, not keen on the pink at all.

I think you should go with the white and you could dye it later if you felt like wearing it again?
