do you do your hair and makeup everyday?

Apart from if I'm not leaving the house I do my makeup everyday, however I don't bother doing my hair and usually shove it up into a messy bun Blush

When I either straighten it or curl it I feel fab but it's not a morning priority and as I already get up at stupid oclock and I would have to forsake plucking my chin and I couldn't do that. (no idea why my chin gets so hairy, I spend at least half an hour a morning doing that if not 45 minutes.)

If you do do your hair every morning (some days I don't even brush it) how long does it take you and whats your hair short cuts?

I do make up and hair every day.
I have long hair so it's either in an updo for work or long waves on days off.

I only ever have my hair in a rough messy bun if I'm going for a bath or doing housework .

I can do " done" hair and make up in under 30 mins ( full face plus up do or GHD waves) .

I do mine most days. I either straighten it or dry til it's barely damp and put my big velcro rollers in. I blast with hairspray and then get everything else done and take them out at the last minute.

I wonder if - don't take this the wrong way - you could get a more permanent hair removal on your chin? That seems a huge amount of time to spend every day and you could easily do your hair in that time. Would electrolysis be an option maybe?

Very short hair - either washed or shower soaked.
Dries in a wrap while I faff about getting ready. Brush through, good to go.

Make up - daily eyebrows (but I wear glasses so often don't bother) need to get into lipblam, tinted would make it look like I've bothered ........

But - I always wear earrings and I'm clean faced, moisturised , teeth brushed .

My make up takes under 10 minutes: primer, foundation, eyelash curlers, touché éclat, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick

I do. I either have my hair set once a week or set it myself at night then when I wake up its pretty. Makeup takes 45 mins but can do it in 20

I do my hair every day if I'm going out, but don't use straighteners or curlers. I just brush it through and put it up into a neat updo, takes less than 5 mins. I don't wash it every day though.

45 mins doing chin plucking?! It's not something I need to do so don't know much about it, but isn't there a quicker solution that you could do once a week or so?

Can't you wax your chin? I wax my moustache because I'm black haired and I can see it. Takes 5 mins

Yep everyday. I have very fine hair which gets greasy quickly so I kind of have to But it only takes 5 minutes to dry and another 5 to wave.

Make up also takes 5 minutes.

miz it sounds really long and weird. I could probably do it in ten minutes as it's not exactly a beard. More like 4/5 hairs everyday but I watch the news and have a coffee instead of getting on with it.

I can't do ghd waves, I try but they curl out to much. I use hot rollers to curl my hair but I only have enough curlers to do a third of my head at a time as my hairs really long and thick.

I think my new years resolution will be to do my hair everyday.

I rarely wear make up unless
Going 'out out'. I have messy hair that never lies flat so fingers through it and it looks fine. I am also blessed with good skin (so far in life) so just use a good moisturiser.
When going out (pub/meal etc) it takes me 20 minutes max to don hair and make up - upside down blow dry and cc cream, bronzer, bit of shadow, liner, mascara and lipgloss.
Friends never believe I spend so little time getting ready.

I pin curl it with a curling tongue, spray it with a dangerous quantity of hairspray and then go to sleep and shape it in the morning

I think your definition of 'do' might be different to mine. I shower and wash my hair every morning. Moisturise face. Two squirts of anti-frizz serum for hair. Hair dries on way to work. So, I 'do' my hair., of sorts .I don't 'do' make-up any day.

I wear make-up most days, but only do my hair every 3-4 days, purely because it takes too long and I worry about 2yo DD running riot. My plan is that I wash it in the evening after she's in bed and then blow dry it all out properly, which tends to stay looking nice for a couple of days. If needs be, a quick up do does the job! (Btw, have any of you got toddlers and if so, what do you do with them while you're doing all this?)

My hair is thick too OP I find having it shoulder length is the best as much longer and I can't do anything with it

I really like my long thick hair when I can be bothered to do it. I had a bob 3 years ago and although it looked nice it looked to old on me and I love the length of it now, it's boob length. I probably will cut it off to a bob in the future but atm it's all swishy and lovely when it gets done.

I think straightening it or curling it the night before is the way forward. tali are you on about the foam curling wands?

I'm showered, hair washed and dried, dressed and made up in about 30 minutes during the week, weekends either spend longer, or like today hair washed and dried, but no makeup because I've not been further than the bin.

Brand no it's a hot one like straighteners but a curler. Honestly doing it at night saves so much time, it stays in better too. I do it when my sons asleep then I can do it uninterrupted

MiniCooperLover · 02/01/2016 22:02

How do you sleep on it Tali? I'd love to know how to do this
