'cheap' skinny jeans that don't go baggy at the knees

Do they exist? Am i asking too much?!

Im looking for a pair of jeans that dont have their own knees by the end of the day. Im in the middle of a post baby weight loss regime, so i dont want to spend too much - probably in the region of £30 - £40, £45 max.

Where shall i look? Ive seen a few nice looking pairs on ASOS - Does anyone know how well they hold up? Or would it be better to go for a jegging/legging jean?

They also need to be a decent length - none of this ankle grazing nonsense (its almost winter!!!)

For info i'm 5ft 9 with a waist and a massive arse & thighs!

TIA

New Look super skinnies. I have black and dark blue about £22 a pair

I second New Look super skinnies. They have something in them, elastane?, so you can go a size down and there is no bagginess. I bought a pair for £19 last week. They do 36" leg so good choice there.

I bought some top shop Jamies last week. £40. I'm 5ft 10 and wear the 34 inch inside leg but they also do a 36. They said ankle grazers on the label but they're not. Wore them 4 times without washing them and no bagging.

Definitely new look. I live in my black skinnies all winter every winter and they have different leg lengths.. Although if you want an unusual size you might have to order online? I've 28 inch legs and the shops rarely have them on stock.

I was surprised by H&M recently. Definitely no sagging and high waisted too.

Topshop Leigh jeans, can't rate them highly enough.

I really like M&S jeggings. I buy a size smaller as the sizing is generous in there. Don't sag around my knee at all !

I am looking for the perfect non baggy skinnies too. Sadly I have tried top shop Leigh and Jamie, new look super skinnies and h&m, and they have all ended up baggy at the knees. It must be my body shape, that and the fact that I am literally on my knees half the time with the kids. I suspect spending more money might help but I can't afford it! From the above, the best ones for me are Jamie and they're slightly thicker too so better for winter, and they do several different lengths. Also I have found sizing down essential in skinny jeans. Weirdly I am a 10, sometimes take a 12 in a mini skirt, but top shop jeans I always by an 8 otherwise they are falling down after the first wear.

I swear by new look too. I get the £12.50 ones and they are brill.

Topshop Leigh here too. They are soft and stretchy as well.

Uniqlo all the way here - and they'll hem them to your desired length as well, though you might need that as you're quite tall?

Might NOT need that...

I think M and S do sag. I'd recommend Top Shop first then H and M.

I have always got on well with Primark skinnies, I have quite skinny legs and they never bag on me.

Yes I saw the thread title and came to say new look super skinny.

Marks and Spencer limited collection super stretch skinnies are superb. Keep their shape and gold everything in! About £39.

I've recently bought a pair of Next ones (can't remember the name-it's lift, sculpt and shape or something) and they are brilliant too. Not too low waisted and very stretchy. £45 but they are lonely and feel so nice.

Sainsburys, the long are a really decent length too!

I am not sure about long leg, as I need a 30" inside leg, but river island jeans are good.

Sorry to hijack, but are any of these recommendations for black jeans that will stay black? Bought a lovely pair of black Mint Velvet jeans last year and they're now a horrible grey.

I've tried topshop jeans but they just don't suit my shape (short and plump Blush).

H and M don't stay black, Top Shop are better.
Can you re-dye the ones you have?

the new look skinnies stay black.

Try the H&M ones on. I've had two pairs of theirs recently and the left leg seam from knee down twists around to the front of my leg. REALLY fucking annoying.

ZARA and AllSaints have a sale on, their skinnies are great but the blacks go grey. Fantastic for 'normal' jeans colour though.

I have Next ones second hand off ebay and they've never done the knee thing. Nice fit throughout.

Another person to wear by NewLooks black skinnies - I get the high waisted ones which help to keep everything in!

Primark also do a dark denim high waisted pair which are pretty good.

The New Look ones - do they feel thinner than normal jeans? I've been in to check them out before and that's all I could find.

My eldest swears by River Island and they do look pretty good quality. Might be Molly?
