Good luck. Had DD2 in May and would love to glam up. I'm managing to exercise but breastfeeding so dieting is a no no. Are you doing any yoga?!

Yes, I really need to.
Plan to start a food diary tomorrow morning which usually helps me to eat more sensibly and healthily. Am going to make a fruit salad this evening so it's there to be dipped into instead of the cake tin
I henna-ed my hair last week so greys are less noticeable and am booked to have my eyebrows threaded on wednesday. I may even get brave and ask her to do my tache too although I fear that counts as TMI rather than getting glam Grin

Thanks for this thread, I really hope it strengthens my resolve by typing it here.

What are your plans food and glam wise OP?

What exercise are you doing CareerGirl?
I keep having passing thoughts about jogging around the nearby park with DS (5) accompanying on his bike, which he would love, but have failed to do anything about it yet.

I need to slim down and glam up. Eyebrows need done, hair needs dyed and nails could do with some tlc.

It's sooo hard to slim down at this time of year. If I don't do something now, by the time I have had all the festive food, my festive cheer will be massive!Grin

Me too ladies, I've been threatening to dig out the shred DVD, so will do that tomorrow evening.

Need to cut down on the chocolate/bread/general crap food.

Ok girls.....you can do this but you have to be strict.

Low carb is fabulous but you have to cut out ALL sugar including fruit.

No grains or wheat or pasta or crap.

Scrambled eggs cooked in butter with bacon for breakfast.

Broccoli and blue cheese soup for lunch

Pork chops with mashed swede and broccoli for dinner.

Drink 2 litres water.

Me too. Been unwell for about a month and piled some weight on, would love to lose some of it, not all of it by the big day.

It was my hubby's bday today so we've been for pizza then had mulled wine and mince pies for tea. It's my last day of gluttony!
I'm doing low carb as I just can't lose weight any other way. My aim is to lose 3/4 of a stone before Xmas but we'll see!
Also plan to run at least once a week to help.
I also plan to drink a least a couple of litres of water a day as it just makes an amazing dfference to your skin.
Feeling a right old frumpy mum at the mo, hair a nightmare so booked in at hairdressers to sort it out!
Anybody seen any fab budget Xmas clothes? Jumpers or knit dresses?

Please count me in

Will try low carbing, as lost lbs a few years ago- works best for me

No grains or wheat or pasta either, as I can never ever limit myself to one slice/ handful of...see above...

Scrambled eggs cooked in butter with bacon for breakfast. That I can do easily :)

Can I have an Ainsley packet soup for lunch( will be at work, with only a kettle)- no microwave available to reheat homemade soup.

Pork chops/ chicken/ salmon with broccoli ( remind me please what other low carb veges I can eat) for dinner.

Drink 2 litres water. Adding low cal hi juice is ok though right?

Weighed myself just now, so will check progress 8, 15 and 22 December. Could do with losing 8/10 lbs.

Already had hair booked for Wednesday, will get brows and tache done this week too. Nails need tidying ( took ages to recover from Shellac, so keeping short and no varnish at all for now).

I'll join you. I have been low carbing for a while and am still on the bootcamp threads so diet is not too bad but need to start more exercise, drink more water and make more effort with the skin, hair and clothes.

I've been promising myself a home facial for about 2 weeks and not got round to it yet

Ok, so no squash to the water.

Is it mostly green veges that are carb free?

I'm in too! Could do with kick-starting the 2 stone of baby weight and would like to look halfway decent by Christmas. Also let my hair, waxing, nails and feet go a little bit so they could go with tlc too! Generally a bit of a mess! Hmm

Scrambled egg for brekkie

Two large glasses of water so far - another one now thanks Ruprekt :)

Broccoli and Stilton cup a soup ( so had to cheat slightly)

Chicken and veges tonight, after 40 minute workout.

Asking very quietly, but are there any low carb snacks I can have?
