Where was it? And more importantly, when's the next one?!? :)

Report
MrsRyanReynolds · 30/03/2011 12:48

It was at the Kent County Showground.

But I am sure they must do them all over the place.

I got a card through the post about it as I am on their mailing list.

It was really good because everything is a fixed price ie all cardis £30, all sweaters £20.

It started at 10am and by 10.15 there was virtually nothing left in the kids section. (I assume they have more stock as it is on until 7pm tonight and again tomorrow).

Sob. There were rumours of one in Edinburgh, but have just phoned up and apparently there is not. Don't know why I am upset, last time i went it was rubbish.
So what did you buy MrsRR was it bargainacious?

I got a plain black cardi, grey cashmere boyfriend cardi, leopard print knitted tank top, grey jersey 3/4 sleeve top with small ruffles on the front, grey jersey dress and a pair of light grey flared cotton trousers.

Not sure what all the "correct" names are ie Fab trousers, Weekend cardi etc Grin

All for the princely sum of £145.

We are going to the Joules clearance sale at the weekend, but I don't really like their stuff so its just for DS so won't be as exciting

I was there too! Got the blue parka coat for£40 and was gutted that my feet are too wide for their shoes as they had knee high leather boots for £30!

Thank you MikeRotch, d'oh I get the name now, that's weird that they said there wasn't one in Edinburgh. Maybe they have changed it because of the Royal wedding.

Anyhoos I doubt there is much point in going, I can't get there first thing on Thursday and DH and I off for romantic weekend on Friday so would not be pleased if I postponed it for blinkin Boden.

Plus I am besides too fat to go and need to get a life instead.

MrsRR - it scared the living shit out of me that sale!!!! I went to get dd clothes as she has nothing that fits, well now she has a coat she doesn't need Blush and I have an entire new wardrobe mind you when boots cost £20/£25 you got to get them. It was the mad running at the start!!!!!

Also I was going to post that a great many people needed to update their underwear - on a more positive note, I felt quite thin!

Am not going to mention the 4 x dresses and the cossie.................

MrsRyanReynolds · 30/03/2011 17:03

Figgyrolls - I didn't dare enter the changing rooms!

Think I was the first person at the tills - tried it on at home and luckily everything fits/looks nice.

Your lucky DD Smile.
