Any good makes of maternity gear, such as Isabella Oliver?

I?m going to try to get through this one with just a couple of items ? say a dress, skirt, trousers ? and the rest normal gear. Just wondered what?s nice. I bought some Isabella Oliver stuff while in Asia for my first (and I?ve lost it all in the move) but as it happened I didn?t think it was very good quality at all for the price. Seraphine? Apols, am out of touch as lived abroad last time around and there was NOTHING.

All my favourite stuff was Isabella Oliver. I bought it second hand off ebay rather than pay full price and it was all good.

I liked Seraphine, has lasted me into my second pregnancy and is in good shape. Gap is also good quality for basics.
Like you I also found Isabella Oliver way overpriced for what you got.

I had some recent success with Next maternity wear (and I don't usually shop there) - lasted and washed well and had some nice colours and pieces in amongst the horrid yummy mummy slogan stuff!

Thanks, will eBay/look online

I liked the style of the IO stuff, just not the material. Given that you wear these things pretty intensely but only for 4-5 months it shouldn't bobble and wear through.

Seraphine, Crave and Mamas and Papas. Some of which I still wearBlush!

Seraphine is excellent and v reasonable in my opinion. Mine lasted two pregnancies and has been lent to friends and is still in good nick!

I thought I was the only one who thought the quality of IO clothes didn't match the price.

I'm dreaming of Number 3, but have not taken the plunge..in the meantime here are my ponderings..

Gotto have hot milk undies this time

Bought some PJs from here last time that were pricey but lasted well www.hautemamaboutique.com/ Current offerings are poor but might get better when new season stuff is added.

Haven't bought from here, possibly good alternative to IO www.babeswithbabies.com/section_details.asp?section=Maternity+Tops&section_id=4634 Love this dress www.babeswithbabies.com/product_details.asp?product=Avalicious+-+Charcoal&product_id=1313

Jojo Maman Bebe is good quality and reasonably priced. Topshop and Asos for trendier gear. And I had one of the classic Isabella Oliver wrap tops which was hideously expensive but made me feel v glam and in which I very much enjoyed showing off my bump Grin
