Missing thread - Orthodox Jews

Why has MNHQ removed the interesting and informative thread about Orthodox Jews posted yesterday? I am Jewish and it was a very respectful discussion. Why the censorship MN?

there's already a thread on this. It was removed as there were complaints about it and MNHQ are taking a look. Some people were uncomfortable particularly with some insinuations that the jews were all rich and lived in nice houses and owned lots of properties etc

Such a shame - there were a few iffy posts but also many links to fascinating resources.

I agree Spartacus Hardly enough to remove the whole thread. MNHQ could have just removed the offending posts!

I am so enjoying 'My Jewish Learning' - I found it when I was looking up Eruv - and I found that I used to live in one! Fascinating!

Didn’t see that thread, but it’s irritating when MNHQ remove whole threads rather than specific posts with weak stated justification. It also incentivises ‘de-railing’ to get threads taken down.

I found the thread very educational and I have the utmost respect for the way in which people choose to live their lives.
It's such a shame that it was removed by MNHQ.
