Last 15 minutes and Last Hour not working

I’m on safari on iPad.
These two quick searches haven’t worked all day, since at least 7am uk.

Yes was working by evening some time.
I had closed down safari ( had it open on some tabs for weeks ) so wondered if that was what fixed it.
