How to steady a washing machine properly?

It's on a slightly uneven floor in a small cloackroom and wherever it's moved it still shakes like mad when spinning (I have to hold it down and put something heavy on top as well). It's undercounter but the gap between the top and hte counter is wide. It was better when standing close to a wall there but it needed to be moved so that the door closes, it was still shakey. I've no idea how to steady but I know there is method. CAn it be done fronm the top by fixing wooden bars along its sides under the counter top so it's tight? Oh - and it can't go all the way to back wall due to pipework etc, but can be close to one side wall.Thanks!

mine has nuts under the 2 front corners - if you lean it away from the wobbly side (iyswim) you can easily turn the nut with your fingers until it touches the floor

is it a boarded floor? if so it might be a good idea to get a piece of thick plywood to stand it on, & then level it on that.

the florr is tiled (not ceramic).
I didn't know about bolts - will check, but then if nothing is supporting it from the sides it would still wobble sideways, and also you d have to get the bolt exactly right. So no point pressing it down with wooden bars from above?

it shouldn't wobble if it's properly level (except maybe with an unbalanced load)

mine are grey & they stick out at the front very slightly so I can see them

if you wobble it from side to side when it's empty you'll be able to tell which side has the bigger gap underneath, & then you can rotate the nut thing downwards, with your fingers, until it touches the floor.

that alone should make it better, but if you can get a piece of thick ply underneath first, it will need a lot less adjustment
