Hi CLB1
Just found out am expecting for sept too! My third. Am so excited and fit to burst - having to stay quiet for another 7 weeks will be torture! DS1 is 3 and DS2 is 2 so will be busy. How you feeling?

Havent had any real signs of pregancy yet - hope they kick in soon cause its odd without them! My breasts killed me on my first pregnancy too! Its awful and most people just laugh when you say it to them.

Congratulations! I'm also due in Sept 2010 with my first. I'm excited but pretty nervous. I have a few weeks to go until my dating scan but I think I'll feel better after that.
I'm not having much in the way of morning sickness, but I'm knackered and my boobs hurt on and off. I'm finding it reassuring to have some symptoms even if they are unpleasant... Is that weird?

Hiya

I found out last week I'm pregnant too, due in Sep 10 I think although I haven't had that confirmed yet. Very exciting but scary, though less so this time as it's my second time.

Very tender breasts and muchbigger this time; but quite a lot of aching and discomfort in the lower belly - not sure if that's normal. Going to make an appointment for the Dr on monday, as Im a bit worried about it...

Great to meet some other ppl in the same boat though!

Hi there! I'm due end of August (with my first at 36yo), not strictly September but who knows! I am so over these sore breasts already, it feels like my nipples are the size of saucers, not pretty, but in a weird way, it's comforting, as long as they keep hurting and growing I can rest a bit easy that everything is OK. Had to buy new bras today and I am now the proud owner of double d's. I haven't had any morning sickness but really bad reflux, the doctor said this was a bit unusual so early on but I'm just watching what I eat to see what triggers it. I really want to tell people now (have only told my Mum and my sister), my husband and I went out to lunch with friends yesterday and they questioned why I hadn't touched my wine, then mentioned that I didn't the last time we went out as well...unfortunately I didn't have a clever reply but my husband saved the day quickly changing the subject?? I think after my 12 week scan I might just go crazy and run down the street telling everyone! xx

I don't think I waited so long to tell ppl last time and I have already told a few close friends this time. I do preface it with "it's very early days yet, but..." but i sort of feel that these ppl are close enough that, if something did go wrong, they would be supportive, and I wouldn't be ashamed for them to know.
oh, and the boobs thing? OMG, it's ridiculous. I dont remember them being this sore last time!

I was wondering if anyone is having an early scan (7-10 weeks) before their 12 week scan, I'm not sure whether to or not? Is this something that is done privately?

Just thought I'd pop in and say hello. DH and I are also expecting our first in September. Doctor (without taking into account cycle length) says the 17th, I say the 25th.

My main worry right now is that something will go wrong as it's SUCH early days. Haven't really had many symptoms either - just a bit bloated and very tired. Keep wondering was there something wrong with the HPT I took, thinking that maybe AF will just arrive any day!

I said a quick hello on the other September thread but then I backed away again, because the group seemed so huge and well-established, and so many of the members already had children that I felt silly being so new to it all! So it's nice to "meet" some others due in September who are doing it all for the first time too.

Hello, welcome! I've told my Mum and I'm dying to tell my husband's Mum, this will be her first grandchild, and she's been dropping hints on how much she wants to be a Grandmother longer than I care to remember! Husband really doesn't want to tell anyone until our 12 week scan, boring!!

I'm 8 weeks now and have just been on a tour of maternity unit at the Royal Free in North London. I thought it seemed a bit soon to be worrying about that, but my doctor was very keen for me to choose so she could get me into the system. I was very happy with it, despite some of the horror stories I had heard. There were a couple of women on the tour fit to burst! One poor woman had her jeans unbuttoned and held up with what looked like a home made elastic belt, shocker. I thought, you know what? When I get to her stage I probably aint gonna give a damn either! She looked so tired, I thought she may well crawl into one of the beds there and then! Ha!

Me too! Am so excited I don't know what to do with myself!
This is my 2nd. You'd think I'd be more relaxed but no!
Have sore boobs and a sore lower back but nothing else. I actually want to be sick just because it would make it seem more real!
Good luck to all of you!

Can I join too? I'm a first timer, 37 and 5 weeks pregnant, due 20th sept. Main symptom is sore boobs. No sickness apart from a very negative reaction to my beloved marmite on toast!

Do currently have the achiest thighs after exercise on Saturday. Have had to stop the really aerobic stuff due to sore boobs, so just did a mild workout with nothing overtaxing but today i can barely get up and down the stairs - is this something pregnancy related or should i just stop now and sit down?

good luck to all

Hi everyone. Can I be a geek and start a list?

hoopyloopycow - #? - EDD 15th Sept
WhiteRoses - #1 - EDD 17th Sept
greekbird - #1 - EDD 20th Sept

Everywhere I read, people have sore boobs! I haven't! They're just there, same as always, doing nothing! I have felt really tired and my belly's been a bit funny - heavy, a little crampy at times, but nothing else. Keep worrying that I'm not actually pregnant, even though four HPTs and a missed period have told me otherwise! Lol! Think I'm going mad!

OzKate - my MIL doesn't know yet either. I'd love her to know, as would DH, but unfortunately, we know she won't keep her mouth shut once she is told, so for now, we're waiting till it's a bit more certain. Only my managers at work know (work in a risky environment) and so do my parents and sister. Cause it's such early days, we're (well I'm, mainly) pretty aprehensive about anyone else knowing.

And in answer to your other question, I'd LOVE an early scan, but at about £100, I don't know if I can justify it when it isn't really NECESSARY, if you know what I mean?

Mud - I wouldn't mind telling close friends, for the same reason - if something went wrong, they'd be supportive. But, understandably, DH doesn't want anyone knowing before his mum. Silly woman - wish we could trust her to keep quiet. (She's lovely really - just won't be able to contain her excitement! Still...)

Malachite - no! I want symptoms! Lol!

Hoopy - have you told anyone then? Are you going to?

whiteroses #2 for me, got a 7 y o DD.
We havent told anyone yet, although 2 friends of mine have guessed, due to me going green every half hour or so and turning down tea and coffee! I dont think I`m going to last much longer though

Its weird cos I had no symptoms until I was 9/10 wks with my dd,Ive had everything going with this one!tbh though I was symptom spotting v early on

mud Ive had lots of cramping too, have googled it over and over and as long as its not really painful or with fresh blood it looks like its normal, although its worth getting checked if your worried x

anyone else had cramps?

WhiteRoses · 18/01/2010 15:02

Hi hoopy - I'll edit the little list I started then, now I know you're on #2.

hoopyloopycow - #2 - EDD 15th Sept
WhiteRoses - #1 - EDD 17th Sept
greekbird - #1 - EDD 20th Sept

I've had cramps too, just a little bit, and on and off, so haven't worried too much. Said it to the doctor and the only thing they want to know about really is blood... Anything else is fine.

Hi ladies, Im due around sept 21st !!

Had sore boobs, slight indigestion and sleep a lot, also toilet trips in the night are annoying lol.Had lower period like pains nearly every day but not agonising. No spotting so I guess its all good.

First MW appt a week Wednesday, its all a blur x

Hi willthecatbejealous - same due date!
I dont have many symptoms this time just knackered - feel like I have been drugged. And am going to the loo on the hour. With my first baby I had serious period like cramps - so much so was convinced it was coming and didnt even confirm I was pregant until 6 weeks. My boobs were murder then too but nothing so far this time - tho would like symptoms to make it feel real.

went to the doc about the cramps/discomfort - she felt my tummy nad was worried enough about the tenderness to send me to A&E for an internal scan - luckily all clear and I even got a photo of the 'blob' (the technician even said, "There's your baby - well actually, it's just an egg sac!")..but nice to have the weight off my mind. Now i just have to worry about actually having another baby. eeeeek.

First baby for me and my hubby, very excited! Just my mum and sister know at the moment- going to keep quiet for another 6 weeks or so.
