All i see is babies. I see them in the shops and on the street and its like a puppy, I want another one. Please refresh me with all your horrors of pregnancy/birth. I need to hear it.

Looking at mine (13mos) growing up so much makes me want another but dp says he'd rather cut off his penis with a rusty knife...

Angeliz Tue 25-Jan-05 15:47:44

Used to make me, then i got pregnant and totally went off them!!

Fortunately i'm back on them again and expecting number 2 in a few weeks!

can't help I'm afraid. I have the same problem.

My mum says it stays like that until you reach menopause

colditzmum Tue 25-Jan-05 15:49:11

I was in labour 36 HOURS, yes 36 HOURS!!!!!!!!!

Now then, no more babies!!

nailpolish Tue 25-Jan-05 15:50:16

It makes me want to rush home and cuddle mine but doesn't make me want another - yet.

lou33 Tue 25-Jan-05 15:52:53

not in the slightest

HeyEnidYouveLostWeight Tue 25-Jan-05 15:53:17

how about: I had a transverse op delivery with high forceps and I split from fanny to arse

mamadadawahwah Tue 25-Jan-05 15:54:38

Yeah Enid, but sure you lost weight!!

colditzmum Tue 25-Jan-05 15:54:59

He came out sideways playing a saxaphone!! He was 4 stone in weight!! Having babies makes you go blind!!

(I look at babies too )

I think I could be tempted to have a third - thankfully dh is against the idea so he is a good contraceptive for me.

Nah, other peoples babies aren't as nice as mine.

I can imagine that other people get that when they look at my baby though.

nailpolish Tue 25-Jan-05 15:56:57

LOL flum!!!!

mummytummy Tue 25-Jan-05 15:58:07

28 hours of labour followed by emergency ceasarean. Paper knickers, ceasarean support stockings (mmm mmm!), K cup bra with no underwiring, jelly tummy. Mastitis with the flu symptoms 3 times in 7 weeks with constantly leaking boobs, guilt feelings for giving up breastfeeding, sleepless nights for the first 8 weeks with DD2, but for the first 7 months with DD1! Trying to change 8 month old baby's nappy whilst she is constantly trying to turn over - need I go on?!!

NameChangingMancMidlander Tue 25-Jan-05 15:58:19

Flum you are so naughty

mamadadawahwah Tue 25-Jan-05 15:58:24

Nobody's baby is EVER going to be as nice as yours. I look at other peoples babies and smugly look at mine and KNOW he is the cutest, the brightest and most well behaved. My uterus rules the world and I have spawned the king of all babies.

lunavix Tue 25-Jan-05 15:59:18

I absolutely adore ds and (obviously) think he's the smartest loveliest baby in the world.

But from the second I had him, I've wanted another

lunavix Tue 25-Jan-05 15:59:39

And looking at others (the cute ones, not the ugly ones ) makes it worse...

bundle Tue 25-Jan-05 16:00:22

i don't even have to look at babies to want another one

NameChangingMancMidlander Tue 25-Jan-05 16:01:06

Only slightly, and then I remember that I already have 3 and that 2.5 years after the youngest I'm only just getting 'me' back.

hippi Tue 25-Jan-05 16:02:59

I do! I want another - not natural really only gave birth two weeks ago.

lunavix Tue 25-Jan-05 16:04:37

hippi - if dp had said let's make another an HOUR after having ds i'd have agreed! stitches, epidural and general mess aside of course
