Evening ladies.
Cake I put G in the creche at the leisure centre today and she loved it- I took her out of the sling and put her down and she cawled off without a backwards glance to go and flirt with some boys. I felt a little rejected! When I picked her up an hour later she barely noticed I'd gone. It was actually really nice- a big airy dance studio with lots of toys and really friendly staff. It was quite quiet today too, so I wasn't worried about her being overlooked. Then I went and swam for about half an hour and managed about 25 lengths, so generally the morning was a sucess.
Does anyone have a baby chair for their bike? I've been considering getting one so that I don't have to take the pram for short journeys, but I'm not the most confident cyclist and I'm worried that I'd have an accident. Can you get cycle helmets for babies as young as ours?
Can I do a quick non- baby related lifestyle survey?
How many of you have dishwashers/ tumble dryers and how often do you use them?
What do you consider your "treats"? (I mean things which you indugle in regularly, but not little things like mars bars) Baking? Bikini waxes or salon treatments? A legion of domestic staff?
How many days per week do you go out (either to stay and play/ sing and sign/ lunch with friends) and how many do you stay in?
Do your DPs have standard responsibilities WRT childcare, Ie: first nappy of the day/ bedtime, or do they help out as and when?
How often do you clean your kitchen floor?!
A bit eccelctic, I grant you, but a few questions which have been bugging me for a while!
MLIC you would be soooo proud of me- I have, for the first time in oooh ever, finished all my ironing. my ironing basket is empty. Not just the little things too, all DHs rugby tops, hankies, all Gwens dresses and my tops, all the pillowcases... I felt about as proud of that as I did when I finished my degree!
Day six of Shred tonight, hopefully before midnight! I think I'll do one more day, and then move up to Level two- I'm feeling rather good, as this is the first time I've ever made a concerted effort to exercise, having been a hardcore dieter my whole life, and I think I'm starting to notice a difference.
