when i said no day feeds, i meant during the day, iyswim? she has one on waking up between 7am - 8am and then her bedtime feed and 'dream feed' so i can leave her all day now, in theory.

neither F nor A really asked for feeds apart from the bedtime and night feeds for some strange reason, i would just feed then when it seemed the right time so i also just decided when to drop them and they wouldn't ask for the missed feed. i dropped her 4pm one about a month ago as she was barely taking any and seemed more interested in having a snack like F.

I know what you meant :) S has a good old feed at lunchtime probably his best feed of the 24 hours but then it's been a long time since breakfast and he'll only have had a snack since then. The other feeds are very short and sometimes I don't bother with the wake-up feed but go straight to breakfast. L weaned herself around this age so I wonder how long S will want to go. My friend who was here last week is still feeding her 2.5 year old but I don't think I have that in me!

Cake I put G in the creche at the leisure centre today and she loved it- I took her out of the sling and put her down and she cawled off without a backwards glance to go and flirt with some boys. I felt a little rejected! When I picked her up an hour later she barely noticed I'd gone. It was actually really nice- a big airy dance studio with lots of toys and really friendly staff.It was quite quiet today too, so I wasn't worried about her being overlooked. Then I went and swam for about half an hour and managed about 25 lengths, so generally the morning was a sucess.

Does anyone have a baby chair for their bike? I've been considering getting one so that I don't have to take the pram for short journeys, but I'm not the most confident cyclist and I'm worried that I'd have an accident. Can you get cycle helmets for babies as young as ours?

A bit eccelctic, I grant you, but a few questions which have been bugging me for a while!

MLIC you would be soooo proud of me- I have, for the first time in oooh ever, finished all my ironing. my ironing basket is empty. Not just the little things too, all DHs rugby tops, hankies, all Gwens dresses and my tops, all the pillowcases... I felt about as proud of that as I did when I finished my degree!

Day six of Shred tonight, hopefully before midnight! I think I'll do one more day, and then move up to Level two- I'm feeling rather good, as this is the first time I've ever made a concerted effort to exercise, having been a hardcore dieter my whole life, and I think I'm starting to notice a difference.

We have a dishwasher, usually goes on once a day. No tumble dryer and we get by without it though it can be difficult in winter/spring when it can rain for days.

Bikini wax a treat????? You crazy kids. I don't have a treat I spend a lot of money on but something like on the weekend I'll leave the kids with dh for an hour or two, go to the local library and sit and read a big stack of magazines. Rock n roll

We go out every day, you have to with a 3 year old. 3 days A has pre-school so we may not go anywhere else as that wears her out a fair bit. 2 days we go to playgroup. Other days it will be park/zoo/beach/friends' houses.

Umm, no I do most of it in the week as he is out from about 7.30am to 6.30pm. He quite often does A's bedtime and on the weekend he will fairly often take A out for an hour or two so I get a bit of peace and quiet with just G.

Prob gets swept or hoovered every day. Mopped once a week.

needle we have a weeride kangaroo that L used until recently and now S has that and L is on the back. It's brilliant cos they can see where they're going but it's best to get some sunnies to keep the bugs out. We've got helmets to fit both of them, S fits a 'toddler' size even with his small head. I'll post a photo of DH and the two of them on Saturday on fb in a mo.

We have a tumble dryer, we use it quite a bit in the winter for DH's towels and undies, he hate crispy clothes. I hardly use it in the summer.

I don't really treat myself in that sense. A treat for me is having a day out with the family without any meltdowns.

We go out twice a day usually, Monday is church toddler group, Tuesday Stay and Play, Wednesday either Stay and play at a different centre or into town for 'jobs', Thursday Wiggles & Giggles (my favourite ), Friday either park or soft play. Every afternoon we go for a walk to the grocers or just around the block to stretch Lucy's legs.

He helps out as and when, and if I ask him he cracks on with stuff.

Gets swept 2-3 times a day and mopped every 1-2 days. We come and go through the garage though which involves walking through the kitchen so it needs it.

I always have my hair done as it makes me feel good. I don't indulge I much to be honest.

• My top treats are having a cleaner and Felix going to nursery twice a week (does that sound awful?) I normally go to a health farm for the day every 3 months, i also have a facial or a crystal clear at a local salon once a month. Also, my father babysits once a fortnight so dh and i can go out which we really enjoy, he also has F overnight once a month which is lovely for all of us

• Go out every afternoon, as wss you kinda have to with a toddler. Mondays - stroll into town/library/cafe, sometimes meet a friend and her DCs; Tuesdays - F's in nursery so i might just meet a friend with A or just have a wander round town on our own; Wednesday - F's music class and will meet a different friend and her DCs for tea afterwards; Thursdays - F's in nursery, A and I meet another friend and her younger DC; Fridays - playbarn (soft play) with a group of friends and their DCs

• Weekday mornings, DH gets up for F (which is earlier than A and I get up), he sorts F's milk and my cup of tea and puts F on the loo before he goes to work (he gets him off the loo too in case you were worried!)
  
• When he gets home, if it's early he'll help out with the tail-end of clearing up their dinner and then will do one of their bedtime routine (usually F's as i'm bf A)
  
• At weekends, he'll take F (and sometimes A too) out for breakfast on Sat mornings and then when he gets back mucks in so we do roughly half each of the childcare altho i try to get him to do more of the poo-related tasks . if i'm lucky i'll get a short lie-in on Sundays too

TSC we don't really have much of a routine. I usually go out to see a friend once a week and usually either baby group or rhyme time once a week. I'm going to make my Monday swim a permanent fixture too I think. I'm just baffled how everyone has the time to do all this stuff! If I went to a group or lunch or something every day, my house would be declared a health hazard! I'm just getting frustrated with it at the moment- still not having any furniture and all our stuff being in boxes.
I'm just trying to get my head around how everyone manages tbh- I have drawn the conclusion that the time which everyone else spends socialising is the time I spend washing up every day!

Once you have a toddler/older child the more time you spend in the house the greater the mess. So going out is actually a method of keeping the house tidy
