Hi, dd2 will be one next week and she has gone mad for dd1's old tricycle which is far too big for her obviously. Had a look at Mothercare and not that much cghoice.
I am looking for something she could possibly be strapped into for a while and ideally sutably for outdoors too with parent handle as it would be excellent for the School run

My DD had one exactly as you describe. Safety strap, parent handle etc. It was a Triang one. About £45 new.

There are probably lots on ebay if you don't mind a secondhand one.

In the mumsnet survey the Triang Berchet Baby Driver came out top but it's the most expensive I think. John Lewis sell it.

DD had the mothercare version of the Triang one below. She can't exactly pedal yet but she can sit on it, hold the handle bats and be pushed to the shop etc on it (you can strap them in). Mind you she did have an argument the other day with it when she walked into it and ended up with a cut and bruised forehead .....

It's a little boyish but i'll customise it before Wednesday
