Let's try for a Thursday this time. (Dinosaur am keeping fingers crossed that you can make this one .)

The next city lunch will be at Pizza Pomodoro - very close to Liverpool St Station, 5 minutes walk from Moorgate. Date - Thursday 14th April at 12:30.

Anybody welcome, just post here to confirm.

Sorry petal. I'd forgotten how prim and proper all you city girls are.
Goodness, what a shame I won't be able to be there this time as I shall be away.
Try to have fun without me although I know it will be hard.
Better? .

hello, I am quite new to mums net. I have had no time to be an active participant but I was able to read very interesting threads during my lunchbreak. Even now I am writing few words at a time as I keep getting interrupted by my 2y old trying to type her own message!!!! I am trying to get to know other mums. I have recently posted a message looking for mums in Bermondsey but no one has come forward. I cannot believe there is no mumsnetters in south east london. maybe my message sounded so depressed and put people off. anyway, I work in EC4 so I can take an extended lunch and meet your group. I am a bit nervous about the whole thing though.

Typical Dino, you can only make one that I can't. Are you avoiding me?

Barbarax, go along. They're really a very nice bunch and relatively sane. I was v nervous first time but everyone made me feel very welcome and it was surprisingly easy.

I think I might be able to make this one. DS1 seems to have (finally) given up napping, so I think we'll put him in school full-time, so I will not be picking him up at lunch time. Woohoo!

I will have DS2 with me - anyone else bringing a vomiting houseplant type person?

Report
dinosaur · 21/03/2005 17:03

Oh that is fab news - it will be lovely to see you after all these years (well, three years) and see your DS2!

I wish I could bring DS3 but now am back at work. I suppose I could plead with DH to bring him in for an hour so I could show him off. But DH would have to sit outside and wait for him to be returned - I'm not having him sitting at the table cramping my style!

Report
NotQuiteCockney · 21/03/2005 20:01

You can borrow DS2 when we're there, if you like.

Although, realistically, I probably won't be passing him about. He's sometimes a slightly pukey baby, and if you are all going to be in fancy City gear, you won't want him on you!
